Foran’s approval could push Lolohea to Red V

Kieran Foran’s pending NRL return for the Warriors could ultimately deliver St George Illawarra a bolt of good fortune.

If Kieran Foran gets approval from the NRLto play next year, Lolohea will have his path blocked by one of the best players in the game and his agent has indicated he would be willing to leave the Warriors.

“He doesn’t want to leave and until the Foran situation is sorted out there is nothing I can do,” Lolohea’s agent Stan Martin told The Daily Telegraph.

“It depends on Kieran, it really does. Tui wants to stay, he doesn’t want to go.

“But at the end of the day if pathways get closed he also knows that he has got a talent and he can go and ply his trade somewhere else.”

One club in dire need of a boost to their halves is the St George Illawarra Dragons. The club decided not to re-sign Benji Marshall and have an opening alongside England International Gareth Widdop.

Martin said Lolohea no longer wants to be known as a utility player. Asked what his preferred position was, Martin said: “Five-eighth. “So if Kieran comes and Kieran goes to five-eighth Tui will certainly not be here.”

  • Foran is only on a one year deal
They are losing Lolohoea and may only get Foran for one year

Guess we are in the same boat - we gave up Sandow...
  • If I don't win a $200 voucher I'm not gunna be happy .
  • What this about Marshall heading to Broncos? Are the Donkeys that desperate?
    • gives more momentum to the Ben Hunt to Eels...

    • I can't stand Benchi but in a team where he doesn't have to try to win the game single handily each week I reckon he'd still have something to offer . If this Hunt rumours a myth I'd rather a Norman / Marshal combo than a Norman / Gutho
    • Only 3 Sydney clubs are "interested" in him
  • theyve already got cody walker. he isnt going to there to play reggies.

    • Yeah way out our ballpark...he can thank junior Paulo for setting that market value
  • 1.75m over 3years LOL.
