Grothe to leave?

I'm not usually one to post blogs of unfounded rumours, but I thought you guys should just be aware of this in case it does happen.

My mate (he's involved with Souths, gets a lot of inside goss on clubs) got a phone call from his friend today who said that Eric Grothe will be walking out on the Eels and going to the Cowboys. He heard it straight from the horse's mouth because he and Grothe have been friends for a long time

Now this is all "allegedly" and "apparently", and I have no idea whether it is true or not so don't take my word for it, just giving you guys some heads up in case it does happen. He said it should hit the papers by next week

Hard to comment on rumours but if Grothe is leaving Flash Gordon may be leaving Penrith.... gives us a good back up option withrespect to kicking.

While I felt otherwiase a while ago, I would like Grothe to stay

Grothe for Tony Williams - not a good trade. Parramatta really have a problem, it seems, identifying who is the most responsible when we play well.

Take Hindmarsh and Grothe out and we look a rabble, same thing happened last year against St George, Grothe, along with Fui Fui, are the biggest players in terms of go forward that parra have.

i love Grothe, he ia wasted at the moment...This coach should be sacked...If you have quick good wingers, gee maybe you should use them? I would hate to see him leave, would rather see hayne go, most over rated player in years
