Any news of the so called meeting that was supposed to have taken place this Thursday just gone that was to deal with the appointment of Bevan Paul as the interim CEO?
Would have thought something would have come out by now.

Unfortunately Col the shit continues, Bevan was given the job in the interim position, he was asked to do it for 6 weeks, he wanted some basic guarantees that they would not give him so he knocked them back. Then he was pleaded by Steve to take the 6 weeks because they were desperate, Bevan agreed during the week, then he has been fucked over again by the obvious people at the last second.
Its a complete joke.
Sort of Typical I guess Snake. Starting to wonder if the NRL got the wrong 4 in deregistering them.
At worst case scenario we have but 3 weeks to go before it should all end for everyone. As a result, with some degree of good fortune the NRL may well decided to deregister the whole lot of them, & then appoint Beval Paul as interim CEO of the football club, worst case to leave Gerrard as interim or whoever supports having Bevan in there.
In the meantime allow him to search out & also appoint temprorary members for the board & perhaps permanent CEO take over from him. Call for new elections with a new structure in place.
No wonder no news on this, maybe now we have discussed here, the leaches may discover it & will be headline news tomorrow.
I hope this is not the case and I can still see light at the end of the tunnel if we get the right people in to run the club.
Shane, I don't see it as doom & gloom, as I said above its typical in the sense that three of the four left on the board stopped the appointment for whatever reason. In fact as I think on it, lets say in 3 weeks when the NRL hands down their final decision & response to the 5's submission, I would see a change of the guard in one way or another. I hope there is moves afoot to call an EGM where a no confidence motion is put against the remaining board members in particular as they have blocked a chance of the club going forward with Bevan in Charge.
That way the club can really move on. I even would not object now to the NRL appointing an independent person to work with Bevan Paul towards new elections & governance, & appointment of a new CEO.
