Hope you're doin' OK Tad :)

I noticed a couple of days ago that Tad hadn't been around - and today I noticed that his old posts aren't on the site and thus he is no longer a member.

Tad was a kind sole and a regular poster on here - he had a passion for social issues and was always keen to participate in discussions on any social/current affair type issues. I didn't always agree with his views but Tad was a gentle fella who was never deliberately abusive, aggressive or robust in his language and - even if he upset someone - there was never any intended malice or aggression in his posts.

Tad, if you read this mate, I would like you to know that there are plenty here who believe the site is poorer for your departure.

I hope you're doing well mate and I hope to see you back on here sooner rather than later.

Cheers brother :)

  • I'd like to echo those sentiments Kramer.

I've always enjoyed Tads input to the site, and even though like you I didn't always agree with his views, he was always thoughtful and respected others views.

If you're out there Tad, come back mate, we miss you!

  • Well said Kram, and agree on that. Hope Tad is ok..

  • Top blog mate, Tads a great guy with a kind heart, hope hes ok and not gone for good.

Does anybody have any contact details for him?

    Come back Tad!

    • Snakey, I've contacted him. You're right, he's a great guy, mate. As are you.

  • Come back Tad.

If there was a Legends of 1EE Tad would be one of the first chosen.

  • Great blog, Krams. I'm a big fan of TAD, and you're right he's a wonderful person. He has always had my respect. A wise, gentle and creative soul. I've sent him a message outside the site, and I'll let you know what happens.

Come back Tad! I can't fight all these right wing lunatics on my own ;-)

  • Come back, Tad. We all miss you. Even Snake's tiny little heart burns for you.

Introducing laws (rule changes) for the sake of it. The reason they change so often is because the stuffed it up in the first instance. Fuck.....leave the game as it was please, it's not broken."

"Also, not a big issue just awkward if you name a debutant on the bench but there is a chance they might not get on the field if there is an injury in a spot like backline.
Like imagine that hahah, here you go mate you might debut off the bench."

"That's the thing it will be hard in certain areas. Firstly as you mention do the 18th and 19th men need to sit out of NSW cup? If so that's not good for development if they aren't playing most weeks. Coaches wouldn't want to play someone like Joash…"

If fresh, will clubs now need more halves etc? Can't see many just in case halves playing much if they are just bench warmers. Still a few questions to be had I think."
