Vale Neville Glover

Former Parramatta Eels winger Neville “Nifty” Glover has died aged 70.  He played 121 games for Parramatta and 13 for Penrith between 1975–1983, scoring 59 tries, and represented both NSW and Australia in 1978.  Glover was a highly regarded winger and later named in Parramatta’s “legend” team, with teammates praising both his talent and character.  Despite a strong career, he was often remembered for a dropped pass in the 1976 grand final that cost Parramatta a potential premiership win.  After…

Anyone else feel like this week against Tigers is make or break?

Does anyone else feel like a win/loss this weekend will dictate our season.Personally, I think a win here would be massive. It would put us as 3-2 with a fairly soft draw. This would be a great result considering the teams we have versed, and would put us in the early finals picture Conversely, I think a loss will be dire. I'm not too sure why to be honest, I just feel like it will put to sleep any finals run aspirations despite how early in the year it is.

Wondering last night and what people thought, imo walker is most effective off the bench, can we start ryley at 13 and talyn at 9 with walker on the bench, then you bring in walker to lock, ryley to 9 and talyn to the bench for a break?
