Will Moses be in Origin 2 & Should He?

Just wondering what other Eels fans are thinking about Mitchell Moses possibly being selected by Coach Daley for Origin 2. I personally don't think he should be selected because of his injuries and also his form this year hasn't been the greatest.I think it's more important he gets himself 100% fit and spends more time on the field for Parra the Origin. It seems everytime he plays in Origin he either picks up some injury or aggravates current injuries that sidelines him for Parra matches. What…

Mason and Scope on Parramatta Recruitment and How Premierships Are Won

What Wins Premierships? Talent, culture, systems, pathways, or belonging and connectedness? For some, the answer is simpler. Who cares about the why? Sack as many as possible. Sign sexy names. Job done. One thing is for sure: premierships rarely happen overnight. Clubs need patience: the exact opposite of what many fans need. The theme of recruitment, usually strong criticism of Parramatta's recruitment and retention, has been a constant topic among Eels fans as we've struggled this season.…

Thomas Jenkins

I have no inside intel or contacts within rugby league circles, but this is one rumour I keep seeing in different parts of the internet.  Social media, Penrith forums, other eels forums etc.Milky Jenkins apparently is going to sign a 3 year deal with Parra. Again I don't know how true this is. He'd be a good addition.  Yes he plays on the end of a dominant team and yes he was average at Newcastle. But he was also a kid. He's matured and coming into the peak years of his career. Quick, great in…

Remember Rodney Hogg

Rodney was a late arrival to Test cricket at age 27. Born in Victoria he was overlooked by state selectors and moved to Adelaide to find an earlier path to Shield. He was selected and within a year he was noticed by Alan Davidson who mentioned his name to National Selectors. Just before this Lillee and co had debarked to Packer's World Cricket. So Hoggie was picked to play in the home series against the Poms and then take on the Pakistanis in the summer of 78-79.The games purists were as shocked…

Parramatta has moved their pre season training to Lennox Head for this week. They have been warned that when your luck is out, you need to be very careful going into the surf! in Northern NSW.Parramatta officials are very wary of these danger's as Cronulla Sharks have been preparing to go North for the ambush for sometime. Poppa's Dilemma, Welcome to my Corner, come in and have a Cuppa with a Silly Old Bastard. I think it's New Year Shortly?

Well we have been having a few dilemma's around here lately and I am getting confused, from what I can tell we have a lot of problems telling our left from our right. We don't have this problem at home because my wife is always right and I am constantly being left out. They tell me I am getting old and stupid! A man named David call him Poppa, because thats who everyone knows him as maybe suffering from some cognitive issues, he  invited two of his friends over—both of whom were also battling…
