Vale Vince Fawcett

I seem to remember him always being on the verge of becoming one of the great UK exports, had a bit of a cult following with Eels fans too.Am I right that he had a blinder for the Eels against GB one night busting the line and scoring a runaway try?https://www.parraeels.com.au/news/2026/02/09/vale-vince-fawcett/

V’landys Backflips but the Lomax Case May Hinge on One Question

One sliding door moment could tip the scales. That is why it matters that Supreme Court justices approach equity seriously and are not swayed by even the loudest of drumbeats. Especially now, after Peter V’landys, the NRL’s Commander-In-Chief and self-proclaimed custodian, along with national coach Kevin Walters, have ventured into territory that invites the Eels’ case to be nuked or trimmed down. As an Eels supporter of more than 45 years, disappointment barely covers it. I can’t recall…

Eels' 2026 Backline?

To those with knowledge of the Eels' lower grades, do the Eels have players coming through in the outside backs who might be within 1-2 years of a) breaking into first grade, and/or b) have the potential to be star outside backs?I think the Eels' pack is fine for 2026, with cover at both prop and backrow and promising forwards both established and emerging. But the Eels seem thin in the outside backs? Poppa's Dilemma, Welcome to my Corner, come in and have a Cuppa with a Silly Old Bastard. I think it's New Year Shortly?

Well we have been having a few dilemma's around here lately and I am getting confused, from what I can tell we have a lot of problems telling our left from our right. We don't have this problem at home because my wife is always right and I am constantly being left out. They tell me I am getting old and stupid! A man named David call him Poppa, because thats who everyone knows him as maybe suffering from some cognitive issues, he  invited two of his friends over—both of whom were also battling…

ANY MORE SIGNINGS???

I've been frustrated recently about the work we have been doing in the open market. Jonah's alright for a year and JDB is solid but he's getting old. I feel we need more in the forwards and some a replacement outside back. All I have seen is links towards Brian Kelly which is exciting but if we want to become premiership contenders were going to need more bigger name signings. The rumours about Keoan Koloamatangi have gone silent recently but I hope were still pushing to get him as I think he's…
