Jonah Pezet so far

Only 3 games into his eels career, plenty of ups and downs from Pezet but for the most part he seems a solid young half. His defence needs a lot of work but not sure moving to Brisbane and facing all of that pressure is going to help him. Looks like he needs a good 2-3 years next to Mitch working on his game. I wouldn't mind it if he backs out of broncos deal to stay at Parra long term probably best for his career moving forward

Game Day Experience

I know someone posted on here a while ago asking for feedback etc etc. I thought they did an excellent job yesterday and I'm so glad they dropped that god awful techno version of enter sandman. The atmosphere yesterday was really good. I love how Enter Sandman is now our run on song. But a couple of things I'd like them to change. It is dead quiet except for the boos when the opposition run on. Enter Sandman shouldn't start until after the away team runs onParramatta doesn't run on until the…

Poppa's Corner: We made a mistake, lets admit it, move forward; and it looks like we are overrated!

This heading is probably something we don't like admitting to. Yes it implies criticism but I don't want to start looking for blame or scapegoats, just accept it and move on. The main issue in my mind is the "Pezet" experiment. It hasn't worked and the future has to be now. If its not, then it is a pointless exercise. Back to Pezet. It occur's to me that just about everyone is in concurrence that he is not up to the 5/8 role.  The fact that our Reserve Grade side is struggling and do not have a…

How do we shape our forward pack for the rest for 2026

3 games this year have all had one thing in common. Paramatta have started all games horribly as they have been rolled through the middle by the opposition with ease. This has resulted in JDB being dropped. However, JR said JDB still has an important role to play in NRL so hopefully he fixes it that ASAP because we need it now with the news of Hopgood doing his ACL.I think JR learned his lesson today that Walker needs to stay on the bench and is not the answer to fixing our poor starts. Smith is…

Shark Attack..... Moses told to be wary of the surf!

Parramatta has moved their pre season training to Lennox Head for this week. They have been warned that when your luck is out, you need to be very careful going into the surf! in Northern NSW.Parramatta officials are very wary of these danger's as Cronulla Sharks have been preparing to go North for the ambush for sometime. Mitchel Moses has been specially fitted with a shark proof vest but there are concerns that even paddling in the surf could be dangerous for Mitch's notorious "shark bait"…

Poppa's Dilemma, Welcome to my Corner, come in and have a Cuppa with a Silly Old Bastard. I think it's New Year Shortly?

Well we have been having a few dilemma's around here lately and I am getting confused, from what I can tell we have a lot of problems telling our left from our right. We don't have this problem at home because my wife is always right and I am constantly being left out. They tell me I am getting old and stupid! A man named David call him Poppa, because thats who everyone knows him as maybe suffering from some cognitive issues, he  invited two of his friends over—both of whom were also battling…
