  This pic was taken from Rugby League week 1983, but the 40,000 stadium never happened because the cost was in excess of 50 million. Back than clubs were doing it tough financially. And if you remember the cost of Parramatta stadium in '86 was mostly funded by the state government.

  this will increase the capacity immensely , think of the atmosphere that the swarm will create, you'll hear the bongos from Tony's house up the coast.
