"But then Moses comes back and makes us lose respectfully. We do improve with Moses i believe that. Not enough to win but Moses helps. That's what could save BA, said it from the start."

"Keeps Lane in the side and drops Moretti. Lane would be the biggest  bludger in NRL first grade. Another example of this coaches lack of football nous."

On a side note i hope simmonson has learnt how to defend on the right wing. Still scared from the previous times he was there a couple of years ago "

"Speaking of that EA. Why do you think players like Martin and Tuivaiti are not getting a run. Tuivaiti has a top 30 deal next year, they are not performing in Flegg why let him waste away in Flegg, let him get some experience in Cup. Plus speak all…"

"But Talagi was meant to be the X-factor weapon on the bench, a mr fix it. Oh well that plan failed after a week, lets go with a specialist Hooker when we play our starter for 80 and apparently have forwards busted and expect them to play big minutes…"

"Given the overly conservative approach by our Chairman and CEO, unfortunately I think you're correct. The only way we'll get a new head coach is if we get successive severe floggings. I fear for the lack of football nous in our Board. They all…"

"What really sucks is he announces it on the day he's announced to make his debut. This club has some seriously bad cultural issues.  Other clubs' players shed tears the day they get their NRL jersey. Ours announces his departure. Then we've got the…"

"His reps probably asked the club who was going to be the coach moving forward and couldn't get out of there fast enough.

"yep. Same same for 10 odd years. Just try every bloody game you pretenders. One game does not make a footy player, it has to be consistent, and they are not. As BA said "they are part time footballers" can I add " And full time pretenders for most…"

Analysis and reflection of BA and is sacking the go, WARNING LONG BLOG.

So the topic of convo has been the beating of the drums for Arthur. Now over the years i have flipped flopped alot on my support or lack their of for Arthur. In 2018, i wanted him gone, nothing could convince me otherwise. Then again in 2020, after the finals i started to get irritated of his teams fading. 2021 again wanted him out, but late 2021 after the semi i did say you either sack him or extend him as he was off-contract. The club extended him til 2024, where i said 2023 but oh well. I…

It is not Arthur's fault: Gus Gould

Funny that Gould defends Arthur saying he is not the problem, the problem is their junior development is messed up. Yeah you know who else's junior pathways is bad? Canterbury and who coached them when the pathways were slowly being worked on? Barrett. But you sacked him when the junior pathways werent great. You sacked Cleary when the Penrith pathways weren't going well. You sacked Griffin whent they were in the top 4 winning games!!!!!!Nobody brings it up as it's Gus. If you do you lose your…

NRL admits bunker got it wrong on roosters obstruction call

Graham Annesley has conceded a controversial obstruction call that cost Roosters star Joey Manu a fair try against the Panthers was wrong. The NRL head of football has wasted no time conceding that video referee Chris Butler failed to use the necessary level of discretion in incorrectly deeming that Panthers fullback Dylan Edwards was obstructed from defending the no-try due to a collision with Roosters decoy runner Jared Waerea-Hargreaves. The alleged obstruction from Waerea-Hargreaves on…

Nuclear Power a Balanced View

I previously wrote a blog on the subject of nuclear power.Professor Daz basically took my comments apart and justifiably so as I had nowhere near the knowledge or research capacity to lay a factual basis for the proliferation of nuclear power other than a view I privately held via an economist friend of mineI receive a lot of economic commentary and a newsletter I receive from another economist paints what I believe to be a more balanced view of the discussion. I say this because Daz pointed…

What is everyone's preferred BBQ meat choice?

So Sunday, to celebrate the start of a new season, i am hosting my mates with a BBQ, pool table, darts and man cave while watching the Vegas matches. Though i am curious for a fun discussion what is everyone else's go to for the BBQ? For me, a piece of Scotch Fillet, seasoned with salt and a BBQ seasoning which consists of mustard seeds, paprika, thyme, garlic and more that i cannot remember, cooked to medium rare to medium, simply devine.
