Listening to Journos pod, apparently Lomax is still mulling over whether to stay or leave for R 360. Eels apparently are not fazed if he decides to leave as it opens up cap space for other signings. Have to wait and see what happens

Due back at training this week but nothing confirmed on his future yet. NAS keen on joining Parra but eels need to create space. (Matterson lol)
I call this report bullshit. If NAS is keen on coming we have space as we have 3 spots remaining and should have plenty of cash as we have no big name coming and only untried juniors or 1's that still have a way to go so unless we are over paying them we should have the cash and if we are over paying them the retention team should all be sacked immediately.
I think Paulo still making like 950k and then you got matterson 650k doing nothing, little things like that probably throwing it out of wack. Doesn't sound like we need much room just a bit to get nas in
Well the fact Ryles said they would release him if asked demonstrated that. I wonder what their plan is if he does go as our backs depth is slim.
The depth would be impacted, but our top 17 would still be fine assuming Simonsson picks up his form. He's a very good right winger.
It does mean we'll need to sign a couple of backups, but maybe the club will just give the likes of Nanva and RIchie or Twidle a go.
Anyway, it does not look likely Lomax will leave. R360 still doesn't seem real to me.
It's still very much up in the air, could stay for sure
R360 has gone cold. Haas word came up and then died off quick. A few weeks back it was countdown to a signing frenzy, nothing happened.
I reckon he will stay. it's a bit too dicey especially if the 10 year NRL ban is real. He would miss Australia I reckon
Not phased ok who else we got and please don't say Simonsson is ready made.I'll say it now we are taking a hiding in that area if JR thinks it's like for like as a replacement because the outside backs take a huge hit if Lomax leaves.
Anyway hopefully Lomax sees out his deal because he's an integral part of Parra's turnaround.
If we are not phased we must have options, but those options are not clear. Unless Ryles sees more importance using the money for depth and forwards instead of a Winger?
I would rather just keep him as he makes the team better.
