The reason we need a rebuild - B Arthur + Mon

Brad arthur it's his team and there lies the problem we face.

Which pack looks better as we look to the future? .   Most of the people we have are pretty much almost done.

Where was the succession plan?  There was none.

There should have at least Bern a mix of keeping the young guns, and getting rid of some older guys.

If we had kept 3 or 4 of the younger guys, we'd be in a very good position right now.

Now we're left with 6 30 year old forwards.   What a fuck up arthur

      • Pou is absolutely right, The article is written by a "long term dope and troll"  dont sully yourself with going there Chiefy. It will put your Arthur family therapy back a year!

      • And our roster was built on the back of winning a lot of games and rival teams overpaying for our players. The Dolphins haven't had to deal with that yet.

    • benett doesnt care because he is a short term fix coach....dragions, souths, newcastle and dolphins

    • I agree it is on them, but why are they not doing it for BA if they love him that much? If he drills it into them and they get lazy then they aren't listening to him and that is not a good sign either. It goes both ways. If it is 100% on the players to motivate themselves then what is the point of a coach? But i do agree with their pay they must perform too, but if coach is not getting through to them either that is not a good sign.

They carry on that they want BA back but yet put up terrible performances while still here. Go through the games after he was sacked and none of our games under Barrett have been anywhere near as bad as the Canberra, Dolphins and Melbourne games. Those games we had stronger squads too.

      • Coaches all rely on senior players, which is why Cleary got a second chance at Penrith. These senior players got their mate Arthur sacked and now they're all on notice.

    • The thing is they are a new club, needed alot of experienced players to come in teach the young bloke's and get some instant stability in the club. Without them it would of been a very long time without any wins on the board. Completely different circumstances. BA did this when first coming to the club with beau Scott, watmough, foran and so on. These guys shouldn't wait till the end of the year to start playing footy.

are you saying whoever's coming in can't build around these players as that's what's been left by BA.

Why not go back when BA started and talk about the shit the first 4-5 seasons he had to deal with.Go and see how much talent he was left with.It hasn't worked out but this clown narrative has to stop.

MoN did BA hire him did he I mean please go back and further investigate Parra's history of failure over the last 38 years yet BA and MoN are responsible 🤦

What your seeing is Parra DNA at work, failure no coach has been set up to win here none of them.I wonder if lessons have been learnt and Ryles has a shot it's too early to say but would I be surprised if Ryles went tits up and then the same old cry me a river narrative rares its head know I wouldn't.

    • Haha have another look at that 2015/16/17 squad and tell it was shit FMD

      • It was illegally assembled and they got screwed doing it the club blew a potential shot at premiership but that's the Parra hierarchy at the time anything to fark things up.They can't even cheat correctly.

    • All BA had to do was teach slide defence and we'd have been competitive in every game.
