Everyone has a view of who the next coach should be.
With respect to some of the commentary the reality is many of the commentaters who have posted could not coach a choko vine up a chicken wire fence.
Knocking and judging BA is reactive and possibly not his fault, none of us are close enough to make that judgement.
Whereas last night showed that regardless of how good or not BA is, that the playing group have outgrown his ability to help them much further.
The look on BA's face last night was like his children had turned on him. This says to me that they need some one fresh and new to take them to another level and also for the club to revaluate the judgement of the playing roster and the individuals therein.
We actually have two opportunities, pay out BA immediately and install Mick Potter as coach.
This then opens the further opportunity is to go out there and seek available options with a view to applications being opened and announced accordingly at a point leading to that end.
Mick Potter can be one of those applicants and this will position us much better with the playing roster and the renewals that need to be made. The administration will then be in a postion to make second opinion judgements on the individual players and what they offer.
Now this sounds like BA being sacked, I would approach (the administration) him on the basis of this is our conclusion and ask him to resign with dignity and therefore give his career and everyone else an opportunity to head healthily in a different direction. Make it look like it is his idea.
If he accepts this process that he has had long enough and he wants to give the incoming coach the maximum opportunity and it will be best for the club and all its players and long term objectives.
Our administration has surprised many on here with their astuteness and patience, don't underestimate them.
They are capable of doing this and we will all be better off. No need to write this season off, a top eight finish still looks a real opportunity and the players will realise they are playing for their professional careers.
BA has done a job under formidable duress and club turmoil, we need to let him out with dignity and not an embarrassing end.
Take the opportunity now Parra.
PS This will give the players whose contracts are maturing the best alternatives as well by making sure everyone understands what is happening.
