So Mitch Moses sits out the game and passes his fitness test this morning and is named to play starting Origin.Critta plays injured, injury gets worse and subsequently is ruled out of Origin. But he leads his team to a win.Thoughts???

Mallee, playing 9 days from now after a hamstring issue 9 days ago is a totally different beast to Critta's shoulder. I bet > 50% of players play every round with some shoulder complaint. The shoulder is designed to be resilient, with lots of rotation ability and redundant muscles and tendons to compensate for local weaknesses. The hamstrings are constantly forced to extend, so they're more vulnerable post-injury. This is just BioMechanics 101.
Ignoring all that to impugn Moses' commitment to the Eels is mindblowingly myopic.
Well if that's the case then he shouldn't be even remotely considered for Origin 2!
Why, Mallee? Moses was pulled from Origin 25 May, and by Origin 2 on 17 June that will be 3.5 weeks. Ryles says Moses would have played against Raiders 13 June which means he was scheduled to be OK by team naming 9 June which is when Moses has went into Origin camp.
Again I just think you're manufacturing a case against Moses' commitment to the Eels based on pretty flimsy grounds. Unless: a) you have some claim that the medical stuff don't know a timeline for return from a minor hamstring strain? OR b) you actually don't went to deal with the difference between pushing a minor hamstring strain vs strapping and needling a shoulder complaint?
Well I guess at the end of the day IF he plays Origin and gets injured or exasperates current injuries and is then sidelined for however long then that's on him, the staff and whoever thought he was ok. Not my concern. I still think club games and commitment to the club especially after a 40 year premiership drought is more important than playing Origin and having an extra $30k in your pocket or some Origin experience. As I said that's entirely on him
Oh here we go again 😂 the ever reliable old fella comment stalker 😂! seriously don't you like have dentures to clean or a late afternoon nap.
Well, you really are.
So you seriously think an extra 9 days is going to totally fix Moses hamstring strain? 😂
I know the shoulder and hamy are very different injuries and I can understand him both wanting and being able to play Origin. I have no dramas with it, however if he re-injures his hamstring, and lets face it it's probably 50/50, then I will be very cross indeed.
It's still very possible to reignite hamstring strain in Origin 2 even with an extra 9 days! Just give him the rest of year off and be done with it 😉
