I'm sure not everyone will agree but in my personal opinion Set Restarts in particular are destroying the game and allowing the referee to basically control the outcome of games. Combine the Set Restarts with diabolical refereeing and bunker calls then the whole fairness of Rugby League has long gone. Seriously today's game was disgraceful refereeing ( yes the Eels made some poor mistakes and the younger players are still learning) but a 10-1 penalty count and not 1 repeat set 🤣. This seems to be a continual report on 85% of refereeing of the Eels games. In my opinion the Eels hierarchy need to speak up about the appalling referee and bunker calls. It's not only the Eels coping it but it seems the lower placed teams get the raw end of the stick. Ricky Stuart isn't afraid of speaking up when things go against his team with refs. About time the Eels did the same or they'll continue to be the NRL doormat team

Health care, Free education, Housing, Public transport, Public roads, Bridges.Pensions for the aged and disabled, council services, law enforcement, and defence. I think we would do well with private ownership of all these community interests with a benevolent oligarchy.

Easy Tad, "Government"..... all the things you have mentioned are public services under Australian Governments......I believe the public service costs could be cut to buggery with improved efficiency. More funds to allocate to those needy issues.
The judicial system is equally inefficient and should be thrown out with the bathwater.
Political government can be cut to representations that virtually cut State Governments out of the system.
National Service to be applied to anyone out of work for more than 6 months. (Army up to age 35) with the emphasis for older Australian be given public service jobs in lieu of social services.Effectively cutting the huge bloated salaries they have through there Union structure.
Prison reforms, sexual offenders against children and domestic violence be neutered and if Australia is not their country of origin that a list of crimes established to deport them.
Unions off the agenda and the damage they do in a public environment and again we become more efficient. CEMFU have cause more problems to the Australian economy than Trump Tariffs.
Unions can have a representative right for members, but no right to strike until the peoples court makes a judgement of fairness.
Socialism doesn't work, that said I have nothing against all the facilities you listed, my guess is we will all be on Govt handouts at some point.

We could discuss this all night Poppa. It is basically a power issue. People in power look after their own interests before the common good. You only have to look at history to see that French Revolution, People who fought to keep slaves in the USA. Russia . Massive tax cuts for the multi billionaires in current USA,as well as cuts to a lot of services including education and health.. .I don't want to get into one of those discussions around inequality throughout power structures in history and where their primary interest was..
