Set Restarts + Are Ruining the Game

I'm sure not everyone will agree but in my personal opinion Set Restarts in particular are destroying the game and allowing the referee to basically control the outcome of games. Combine the Set Restarts with diabolical refereeing and bunker calls then the whole fairness of Rugby League has long gone. Seriously today's game was disgraceful refereeing ( yes the Eels made some poor mistakes and the younger players are still learning) but a 10-1 penalty count and not 1 repeat set 🤣. This seems to be a continual report on 85% of refereeing of the Eels games. In my opinion the Eels hierarchy need to speak up about the appalling referee and bunker calls. It's not only the Eels coping it but it seems the lower placed teams get the raw end of the stick. Ricky Stuart isn't afraid of speaking up when things go against his team with refs. About time the Eels did the same or they'll continue to be the NRL doormat team

                • So does Scott Wisemantel the Union coach running our attack have NFI also chief he's a union coach but because he's staying he does 😂

                  • Yes and in the cupboard we found out that Coryn had nfi that Wisemantel played rugby league for the Eels .

That's how much Coryn knows about rugby league.

He's just here to troll people. No other reason...... go and follow the hurricanes f witt

                • Jesus your full of shite chief so now your moaning about not being physical enough in the middle of the park Jesus make you mind up you twat.Your sniffing JRs ring praising this style when it looks good and is successful and now we need to be more physical like we were.

Guess what you have to pick one which is it.We are struggling to recruit that type of physicality we've made our bed this is the way foward so what do we do go back to the future and manifest Jnr 20 kegs heavier pull RCG back and roll our sleeves up and go through the middle of teams 😂

Good old Chiefy he's lining up first at the Titanics lifeboats 🤣.Don't worry though Chiefy I keep telling you this isn't turning around quickly and we have a long path ahead.Without good recruitment and development expect much the same next year and get ready for 27.

                  • Coryn is just still butt hurt because his old mate bush arthur is not coaching at Parramatta.

Just admit it.  You've hardly said one positive thing about the club since bushie was sacked, and you had nfi Scott wisemantel played here.

Go and curl up into a ball and think about Brad's disgraceful reign at this club, and where he's left it lol 😆 😂 🤣 😅 😄

                    • You know what's even funnier about your commentary on BAs reign the people in charge of the club now extended him twice and here you are NFI calling it Arthur's disgrace in a singular context.Worst thing is your such a dumb carnt I was telling you this 2 years ago.So you say I didn't know who Wisemantel is you have NFI what your talking about.

What's there to be positive about chief do tell we've gone from a premiership participant to bottom 4 in 2 years what's there to be positive about.

40 year anniversary for the longest streak in the nrl coming up chief should we get the Pom poms out for that shall we should we give the people running the show a tap on the back and say good try shall we.

Im laughing because the loser you are you'll be first in line 😂

                  • Why is failing in 2027 funny?  Am I missing something

                    • Are you missing something if it's more than 2's in front of your face you'll miss it.So yes anything past that is hilariously funny when debating the clubs fortunes.

              • Neither the performance coach or the players are causing the supposed 'drop off' The Eels have played reasonably well most of this year considering loss of players, beginning of a new era, younger players, injuries and suspensions. The Eels almost won a few games they lost, and have lost a few they should have won by diabolical refereeing and bunker calls and it's these diabolical calls that have highly contributed to the 'drop off' as it's hard enough competing against 13 let alone 15 as that's drains players confidence, momentum and enthusiasm. I would suggest the Mills is leaving not because of the supposed 'shambles' rubbish but because of personal reasons

                • Fair Cumberland. I dont know Mills' situation and you may be right. It may be personal reasons.

I only know what I have heard from people who have first hand knowledge. These are people that I trust and would have no reason to lie

"Agreed Frankie we've had our fair share in the good years.
The key here is we've dropped our arses so quickly we are now at the mercy of them even though I think what ills our side can be controlled but we seemingly continue doing the samething."
