I Seen Kaufusi on one of the boys post on Instagram with a heavily strapped wrist, im sure both Kaufusi and Stone would have niggling injuries. Great week to get Brown back as we would be very slim in the forwards

Any news on Kane Evans amd Peni?

Stone has a hand injury. I thought Kaufusi had been playing well and must have picked up an injury.

It seems a couple of injuries have played a hand in the bench selection, even if that;s not the case it is a good thing to give some other players a run. The Knights bench is pretty ordinary as well and to be honest i have marked this game down as a loss anyway, we never seem to play well in Newcastle.

I see some are not happy with Utoikamanu getting a run because he is off to the tigers next year, worry about next season then, we might need him in the finals so better to get a look now to see where he is at.

  I agree - we need to be in the present and not worry about what will happen next year. BA will use every resource under his disposale to win the comp this year.

I'm a little torn about Stefano getting a debut. He may just go down as a one game player for the club. I understand the need to go with your best players and to rotate but the fact is he is leaving at the end of the year. Giving him a debut is the mature thing to do but it just doesn't sit well with me for some reason.
Gower will be better for the run. He missed his assignment badly when the Cowboys scored their try but improved.
I suppose we just have to have faith in the coaching staff.
