Coach Jason Ryles sticks solid with his squad after a narrow loss to the Bulldogs on Monday. Hookers Tallyn Da Silva and Harrison Edwards could again be a game day swap as they have been the past two weeks but it's the same 19 who will look to turn around a three-game losing streak. Skipper Mitch Moses is expected to line up for the Blues in Origin Two and will then look to make his return for the Eels in Round 17 against the Rabbitohs when Jonah Pezet (hamstring) may also be a chance to return.

  • no surprises there really, not alot on offer in cup, so rinse and repeat from last week. And hope for better results....at least raiders will be without strange and young right?

  • Would have liked to see Apa for Volkman and Mataele for Moretti

    • I do not see Ryles naming Apa to start unless there is purely anyone else in the halves.

      • Yes agree but one can hope. Shame our recruitment & retention team can't see his potential

  • Wonder who the referee will be. It seems these days that just as important as team selection

  • I hope Ryley finds a club who will actually play him in first grade.

    Imagine getting overlooked for TDS.

    Canberra by plenty

    • Isn't Smith injured

  • I have to say that the club does not seem to be moving forward in many areas when it comes to on field,  It is as clear as day that the Parramatta football department has never been the same since Brian Smith left which was 21 years ago .

When parra made the finals under Hagan and the grand final in 09 it was all off the back of what Brian Smith and the people he had working in the football department had left behind , anyone who thinks as a club we don't have issues in the football department are delusional.

In 21 years Parramatta under various boards and coaches have not come even remotely close to the Smith years .

    • Agree

    • It's a sad state of affairs atm.
