The franchise has always bewildered me. Wests side of things through Holman Barnes Group owns 90% of the club yet don't control day to day running of the club.
May be about to change. Bring back the Black and White Magpies, base yourself in Campbelltown and become a force. The only thing great about Wests Tigers is that they are more of a basket case then the 39 year drought chasing premiership Parramatta Eels, have been over the years.
I am sure there is a licence agreement where that actually cannot happen. Not sure how it works but Paul Kent said they actually can not go back to Magpies as the Wests Tigers brand has a 100 year licence to NRL and they won't allow it.
Would love to see Magpies back.
