I've been thinking the same thing, we'd be stupid to let him go play for the roosters. He needs to comeback asap and I hope we can get him back and work something out.
.....He also blows goats GM...I mean it's just a rumour....and he claims he never did it, as he does whenever he gets called out for his bullshittery...but he absolutely blows goats...
I think Poppa makes a valid point! I mean people have left NRL and clubs for less reasons than having to travel a long distance. I noticed that Lomax did seem disinterested especially during the Origin period and he did give his all for most of the year especially with Mitch Moses missing so much of the year with injuries. Maybe Lomax just felt the added pressure of trying to carry the team and his goal kicking seemed to go pear shaped. Maybe the travelling didn't help
Pops, Lomax is a loss. He was our Haas with his yardage & grunt. A touch of Coates genius too. I was listening to James Graham last night, and like you he believes letting go of Lomax was a bad move.
For me, it was the Cleary On the Bus line in the sand moment. So, I understand where the club is coming from. Can't knock it. Commitment in sport, life, work, or relationships is a central theme to its success. Hard to ride two horses or more properly at the same time even if you're sexy and desirable.
Let's see what he does next before we assume it's a problem with "Parra". I thought it was him chasing bucks with R360, but that's been delayed. I'd take him back if he was committed to playing with his fighting passion working around his NRL career. I don't think Ryles would stop him doing that as long as he's putting in for the team when he's wearing the jersey.
