          • Same-Same with Matto, who I am pretty sure is only at training to get content for his gay Instagram posts

          • Like money.

      • The problem with taking a weak stance is respect is lost which is far more important (and harder to regain) than being appealing which is transient. It's a bit like finding out your missus fucked your best mate but you want to carry on the relationship as if nothing happened just to keep the circle of friends together. It's not too long before word gets around and your friends perceptions of you have forever changed.

I commented in a blog some time ago that we don't have to try and be appealing to everyone, only those who want to be part of our organisation. Part of that is accepting that the majority aren't with us (Zac Lomax being one) and we need to seperate ourselves from those people.

        • I love that you think anyone respects us

          • Perceptions are changing, early days but the signs are good. Hop on board mate and enjoy the ride, it's better than whinging and whining about everything the club does.

            • I'm on board, with reservations, but no one respects us. We simply don't demand it.

Who respects us? Nrl, refs, pundits, potential players?

              I guess I just don't see it

              • Have you forgotten what transpired during this past season? We got walloped by 50 plus in round 1 and everyone was thinking what the fuck have these cunts done with this Ryles dipshit. We finished the season winning however many games in a row (including beating the premiers) and finished just shy of making the finals.

Most questioned the players Ryles let go, senior players, all that experience. Those questions aren't being asked anymore.

Matty Johns stated on his show he thinks we will win a premiership under Ryles. Dave Riccio on code sports only the other day (talking about the Lomax departure and possible replacements) said we are a team on the rise.

Little by little respect is being built.

        • Is taking him back a weak stance?, it's not as if he left on bad terms, people in the club are probably annoyed he made the decision to go but I doubt there is any animosity.

I agree with what you are saying about the perception of being weak but I don't see taking him back as being weak.

  • So R360 have done a 180?

"Issue is do you want him back if he has an eye on R360? He would leave with a year left on his deal. And the constant chatter around him going would it be distracting on top of the proposed ban by V'Landys? Could say let him sign early and play out…"
