"Ryles mentioned Guymer last week as one that is improving every week, so Ryles believes in him it seems. Though in same media conference he did not give Smith to big of praise, was a bit stand offish about committing to him as our future Hooker.…"
"Tuivaiti is a talent and will get better. Smith i am not as high on as others here, think he is very slightly overrated but is a decent Hooker and the best we have by some margin. "

We are doomed. They have the twin Fletcher Mullet power.
Debutant on Lomaxs side, Lomax ats looking good
well done to Toni Mataele for being in the 17, has been pretty impressive in cup this year. Will Latu on the bench in cup is a disgrace, Guymer should be playing in the middle, he's definitely not a edge forward, Matterson should be in the side.
Our forwards have been piss poor all year. There's no aggression in the hit ups or defence. Last week Guymer did 5 runs for 33 metres and Hopgood did 7 for 40. Both did 6 runs the week before for f/a metres. Junior is the only forward running over 100 metres. When Guymer first came on the scene he was hitting the line with speed in attack and defence but now is pedestrian. Hopgood has been a shadow of what he was in his first year with us and averaging 40 mins a game
It's how our game is changing we want our back 5 to be meter eaters so we can keep our fowards fresh to defend in the middle this is the next part of our development with regards to usage and profiling of our fowards. We are moving a way from the RCG type meter eater.
You can even see it off kick offs now 2 passes to the middle of the field and going from there not just one out coming out of the corner so teams can hone in on our middles.
Even with regards to our ball movement in making yards Junior and alike hitting out wider.Basically moving the impact zone to the edges where there are lesser defenders and forcing the defensive line as a whole to move up and back more than a couple of times during a set.
The best thing about this style of play it brings our halves onto the ball more in a set which is a good thing. You can even see Iongi is now starting to have a sniff in the middle of the park also.
I mean there's positives there as copy cat as it is we are just going to go through some pain getting there is all.
You make a very good point.
Addo Carr made over 200m last week, Paulo made the highest just over 100m. We are definitely playing out wider and getting our backs involved more.
pretty much the opposite of what BA was doing.
Yep exactly what panthers have done for the last 5 years
