We must've told Matto that there was no training that day to keep him away from the survey.
Bollocks to 1,2,3,4 and 5 points. No half- decent cunt wants to play for us. Can't purchase shit. Supposed young gun youngsters are 2 years off. We had 3 Top level rep players and lost 2 of them signing fuck all. This orf season has been fucking depressing. I cant see us top 8 next season. Thought we were a decent chance if we kept Lomax and signed NAS. Everyone is ignoring the elephant in the room We've gone backwards. Doesnt matter how much we improve, we don't have the cattle nor do we look like signing anyone that will make us top 8 and it doesnt fucking matter that JR is a top bloke and he respected. It doesnt help us win a premiership. Dogs go out signing Kikau, Burton, Crighton, Galvin but we can't sign shit.
Thank fuck for the Ashes.
It's hard to argue that our squad's strength has not diminished. As you say we've lost 2 x rep players and signed no one. I guess we have to strap ourselves in, hoping the next crop of juniors can transform into rep players and we can retain them. I agree it's extremely frustrating.
It's not a surprise really. Parramatta has put a huge amount of effort and money to supporting their players off the field. Whether that's culturally, in family support, hiring a nutritionist, supporting and providing education pathways.
Yeah from NRL to the juniors parra is all around well rounded club and how players are looked after in their welfare etc.

It's really paid off..........
We used to pay them off too...didn't help
Strange how they're rated number 2 but can't seem to attract players
Not really. TPA's are our biggest achilles heel. The whole system needs to be looked at, including how they tie in with a salary cap. I'd argue that a floating salary cap needs to be adopted, so that clubs who don't rort the TPA system can spend more under the salary cap. Basically having a 'total amount spend', combining the salary cap plus TPA's.
