This Penisini bloke looks the goods. Just chuck him in and see how he goes. He's quite big and looks like he can tackle considering he played lock/2nd row. I doubt he would be a liability in defense.
A lot of defence depends on reading the game Sneaky - he looks like he hits pretty hard but you got to be in the right position.
Waqa Blake hits hard when he connects but gets outplayed (positionally) more often than not.

Tall and athletic with good speed and skills, he starred in Patrician Brothers Blacktown’s NRL Schoolboy Cup premiership. Still eligible for SG Ball but Brad Arthur is a fan.
