  • Dealing  with Origin period for the first time in a real long time. No guts junior rcg  browny will hurt more than anything else. Dont think it matters all that much on the draw (Melb and roosters not included) after all we lost a couple and had a few nail biters against the lower ones that we shoulda did better against last year. All games should be considered tough always for our beloveds.

Depends if we can get our full backline mojo back working for us this year or not. Otherwise we may be just in the bottom half this year anyway. Other lower sides have been building well for next year. It’s gonna be the closest comp ever I reckon.

    • If we've got heavy Origin commitments it means we're winning

  • I'm really worried that Jennings centre position hasn't been fixed up. It's gonna be a long season. Remember though BA needs to get to the GF qualifier to appease the masses. I just can't see it happening, sorry.

    • There is a rumour Hayne will be MJs replacement if he gets off.

I personally doubt it, but stranger things have happened.

    • Time will tell what happens there, and yes we need something good. Are easts better off ? who knows? and Melb too.

    • No. Grand final berth or nothing. Our club is so happy to accept 3rd place as a victory.  It's disgusting. Aim for the cup

      • I assume they do aim for the top finish Chuck.

        • Mate I hope they do. But after experiencing the last 35yrs it's getting beyond gristle. We must always aim for the Granfinal. Then winning it.

    • I don't think the NRL has seen the best of Opacic. Me thinks he surprises a few next year

The thing is, players values change regularly. Not only at their current club but with many clubs.  For example. Before the Eels game last Sunday,  Lomax was more valuable to the Eels than after the successful debut of Blaize. Last week the Eels…"
