    • Agreed Kram, if we hit the ground running we can set up the year by round 10; of course injuries / suspensions etc. can affect it all but we have no reason not win at least 6 from the first 10. Like everyone our depth will be key, and this starts with the forwards. One centre position will be key as well.

  • Well the players know they are up against it next year, there won't be much time to rest. Is the team up to the challenge? This could be the catalyst that propels us to the next level.

    • This.

It's all about who can build momentum and form in season proper, then shifting up a gear in the finals.

The year, the Storm showed once again why they are the benchmark. Geez I hate the Storm.

    • 4 too many words

  • Easy 9th place finish coming up

  • Tough run, we will do well to finish top 4 next year.

      • Well by that logic, we should do well then

          • Well, all the finals games were high scoring Mick,  even the Storm conceded 20 points a game in the finals

Russell should NEVER have been the player…"

"But he is the one responsible for these type of efforts,  if they were a once or twice a season thing you could solely blame the players but they happen regularly every season,  this is on the coach."

Timbo replied to EelsAgeMe's discussion Most embarrassing game in our history?
"I like how Brandy and James Graham dissected the presser. It's an 'all in' move by BA. If the players don't respond now that they've been publicly hammered, then the river card will come thundering down in the next week or two if this sort of result…"
