Moan, Moan, Moanly

The Moaners seem to run the media and NRL.

Something else to moan about this week. Sick of the commentators saying they were robbed against us. If the ball goes forward regardless of whetther it comes backwards out of the hand the refs have been calling it forward for years. Like Gutho against the Broncos and many more. They were not robbed against us and only got back in the game because of a string of 50/50 calls all in their favour.

Wonder if they get another apology from the NRL this week

  • When you want a giggle jump on Silvertails fan site .... Manly supporters are a special breed that's all I will say... and living on the Northern Beaches Im well qualified to have an opinion.

  • LOL - I have never seen a ref work so hard to get Moanly a win and earn his brown paper bag as that clown did yesterday.

Moanly will be asking for a refund. I reckon.

Flat ball to Knight's winger = FORWARD. 2 metre forward pass to Moanly whinger = play on.

At least 1 six again was guaranteed for Moanly when pressuring the Knight's line - 6 again for Knights were almost unseen.

Six again has got to go.

  • My older half-brother is a Moanly fan. I believe he and I are on course for a total family breakdown at present, as he has gone awfully quiet and my daily texts with the League Ladder are going without reply for some reason.
    Maniacal laugh ....

  • Refs came out said they got in wrong in 2003 when we lost the first ever golden point to manly. Shit happens move on manly

  • I hate manly, and i love seeing them lose. But, they should have been awarded a penalty for that push.  But, F**k Manly

  • In one of our recent games, might have been against the Panthers, two tries were disallowed due to pushes in the back from players coming through. Both of them were minor pushes compared to that one at the end of the game yesterday. How can the bunker get it so wrong when it is so obvious?

Having said that, it was Manly, so I'm not crying over it...

  • How can we be sure Manly would of scored if the whistle wasnt blown as soon as the pass was called forward ?

As soon as it happened 3 players dropped of, and the Manly player carried on with it and scored against our depleted line despite the fact he clearly heard the forward pass whistle.

Manly would never have scored anyway if the pass was let go so dont see why Moanly whinge

  • I can except a referee missing a knock on or getting a split second forward pass call wrong, but what f-$&ing excuse does the bunker have for getting a call like that wrong? None. Seriously. Fonua-Blake was right, just directed at the wrong person

    • I thought it interesting FB was sent off after the full time whistle had been blown.

Wonder if he will be given a Please explain from Match Review.

"The Panthers just re-signed / about to re-sign May on 500k per season, and have re-signed Tago on 750k (reportedly) at centre. Our 3 centres probably don't reach 750k combined.
So while they've developed great wingers as you mentioned, they've also…"

I think a move away will be an awakening for Lomax. He was on with Fltech and Hindy with Lawrie in 2022 and he mimicked Griffin.…"

"600k is OK for the right winger. The Panthers sets are built on what their back 3 do on tackle one. The more momentum at the start of a set the more expansive a team can play but if our back three are getting smashed on tackle one and two it puts…"
