Lies you hope its lies if it is as rumoured then it only confirms we are operating out of desperation have no belief in TuIvaiti or Morreti as competent replacements for Paulo.
The money is an issue cap going up regardless you don't pay that much for anyone bar a Haas type of talent.Kolomatangi is a good player he's not great.
If money value is the only thing we have for us getting this type of talent through the door the clubs still in big trouble.
Well also De Belin only signed for this year and if we need him 2027.
So we need two middles maybe for 2027. Plus I don't think Moretti is the one. It's Talagi and Tuivaiti.

Tuivaiti and Moretti still need some time to become pack leaders, or Alphas (they will get there). This is to replace Paulo who's our current pack leader, so it makes sense we replace a like-for-like. And looking at how Ryles got Paulo playing this year, they are very similar forwards that are tough and mobile.
I love this signing

They've got 2 years to be that yet if your committing as reported mind you 5 yrs at 950 a season mate your basically saying the mentioned isn't it because for that money Kolomatangi is exactly that. You'd rather just continue paying guys like JDB or alike to be that mentor than commit millions on Kolomatangi.
I don't like the idea of paying a guy 950 per season if there not on the field the whole game.Outside of Payne Haas very few if any front rowers are worth that they just aren't.That's the part I don't like overspending in areas that don't effect results. For that I could extend both Moretti and Tuivaiti for less money is a better spend.
950 a year seems like the manager's price.....he's a 750 man and the question becomes we would probably have to pay 900 to move him. Someone on here LB I think made the point the 750 will become 950 within 2 seasons and thats why 5 years is a good idea if you want to buy him over price. Number of thoughts go through my head, we have good kids coming through but we still need to pick up what we can in the face of the 2 new teams entering. In some ways we don't need them, but there are no guarantees our kids will make it.
NAS is still a chance and my guess is that I would like him as well but the same issues arise, but K is probably a better long term choice...... I don't envy the recruiters on these ones, damned if you do and damned if you don't ....one will do me but I want be disappointed if we got both or none!
My whole season in terms of optimism is us being able to retain Lomax.....he gives us so many edges and bow's to nobody. I cannot believe there is a winger/centre out there that can replace him, (he is)an extra forward, a opportunist and a game breaker!
PS We may see a situation now a precedent is set that we could lend a youngster or two to the new teams on a buy back/loan basis. This would be for next year and would entail a much clearer position with our pathway players. I don't mind similar positions arising with young halves going to ESL on the same basis. They play a thinking game over there.
Pops I'd just keep churning the youngsters give them there shots and add vets.I see the Warriors grabbed guys like Mitch Barnett Maranta Nuikore Wade Egan and just surround them with young players who eventually get pushed out.
Riff the same Leota Yeo Sorensen Kenny Papali'i and again them with the youngsters.I see a version of it here but I don't think we want to get in that overpaying game cap rise regardless.I agree with the Kolomatangi evaluation but without TPAs I'm still not giving him what his agent wants.
Yeah he's gotta be special. Kelomangi HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA it's Kolomatangi. If he does come to parra his new nick name will be Kelomangi HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

"Not phased ok who else we got and please don't say Simonsson is ready made.I'll say it now we are taking a hiding in that area if JR thinks it's like for like as a replacement because the outside backs take a huge hit if Lomax leaves.
Anyway…"
