It's a shame they never really had the chance to play together with decent halves and a decent pack.
JH probably the most brilliant player to lace boots in the last 20 years. It there was someone one could pull magic out his arse it was him. It was a shame he was surrounded by bums not fit enough to play pub footy. Semi the most devastating winger the game has seen in the same time frame. Semi and Inglis running at you off the fence were two of the most terrifying things that could happen to an NRL player.
Yes I know we keep harping on about it ,but 2009 was just shit for Parra as a club and also guys like Hayne and Fui and Hindy who really deserved that trophy. And Semi, well shit happens, will he be remembered in French rugby as one of the best or just another player, because he could have broken all kinds of records in League and been remembered forever.
Where's Jamie Lyon's name? He was my favourite Parra player at the time he did the dirty on us and I hated him for it but putting Matai ahead of him is just plain ridiculous and totally wrong!

Reserve, - god knows how they come up with, Chambers, Matai, Bromwich and Cordner. Must be a lean decade for extreme talent.
"Yep, Paulo, Gillard, Matto, Lane are playing way below expectations. They are thinking off load before they are wanting to go through the defence.
Gee we miss Reed, Lussick would not be in the top 10 number 9 in the NRL. For mine ya 9 directs…"
Part of that lack of belief / confidence in the group could also be stemming from the Eels inability to finish inside red zones, due to missing those outside backs (and attacking strategies) you speak of who turn…"
"LB I think Brad is really starting to feel the pressure and hearing the noise. He as all coaches know our game is result driven and the buck stops with the coach.
Ethan has ability and a good kicking game. Brad needs him to bring it to first grade.…"
" HOE, monumental effort compiling so much information, statistics & evidence into one blog & keeping it compelling throughout.
As Frank said, this might just be your best work yet. Thankyou for putting such time in, it's appreciated.

Some interesting selections... Michael Morgan at 9 in the second team is interesting especially over players like Farah and Ennis
Michael Morgan is good but nowhere near great.
