Gower - what a leader.

So, how good was Gower again... tonght?

This bloke has carried this team for years. OK...we've won nothing, but this bloke has reduced the amount of embarressing times for us supporters, so many times.

He showed again tonight just how valuable he is to this side.

Floggers on here say all the time that he needs replacing because he is old. He was our best tonight....again.

Gower is our arse handing insurance.

Geez Brown played good.

    • Fox commentary mentioned that he wants to go around again.

  • Legend!

Any time there has been a blog re team lists over the past couple of years, the first player mentioned to cull is Gower because apparently he is 183 yrs old.

I've blown my own head gasket, poofer valve and flange gasket trying to inform that Gower is really our saviour, and he is.

    He balances the side.

    • Steady son. Find a hobby, you will end up like Brissyeel

  • Nathan Brown makes a difference. 200m right up the middle.

  • Very impressed with Salmon also. Took the line on a lot more backed himself and looks like that spell in Wenty gave him a world of confidence like I hoped he would. Salmon also took a lot of pressure off Moses who was very good again. If Hoffman is injured I’d be throwing Salmon at centre as D Brown will be ready v Raiders. If not Salmon definitely has to be #14.

  • EVERY kick was by Moses. The poor prick has to do all the kicking and is an easy target.

The day we have a solid 6 and one who can kick, will be a very good day.

Moses currently is an easy target because opposition teams know we don't have any other kickers.

    • You have a short memory. Our 6 last year was able to kick and we finished last.
      Luckily Brown can kick!

      • I'm talking about most of this season.

  • Gower should have been our captain all this time instead of Timmy. I've never seen him play a game where i thought he could have done more, and he is smart both in his football playing and otherwise - well spoken during interviews.

"Wrong. Matt Arthur is playing in the 9 because he earned the right. Mett is a very smart player.
So is Hands and he should be the run on 9 in FG."

"I agree with ya bud. Junior stated iam the 10 and will wear the 10. Starting or off the bench.
If Ethan is starting as the halfback then he is in the 7."
