CONGRATULATIONS TO THE PLAYERS AND BRAD ARTHUR

I have no idea what has  happened or changed over the last month but the eels have 100% turned a corner as a team .

 

Mitchell Moses has finally proven himself and has been exceptional over the last month and Dylan Brown has not been far behind , the defence the team showed last night was one of the best efforts ever by a eels team and BA needs to be congratulated for the way he has turned things around starting from the storm game .    This off season will be the first where eels fans can genuinely feel confident without reservations  for what is to come .  The only negative I can think of is that the eels attack needs more variation .

 

Anyone who attempts to downplay the eels efforts and their coming of age as a team should look in a mirror and spit at what they see .

    I agree it was a top shelf performance and a stunning effort by an Eels side, but we simply made it too hard for ourselves at the backend of the year Fong. 

    That run off losses from round 19 - 22 cost us the chance of a premiership this year, not last nights tough loss. Someone needs to wear the blame.

      anyways we didn't go out with a whimper and if we had Mahoney we would have won  despite the atrocious reffing

    Good blog, With Dylan still improving and Penisini the surprise packet & maybe a couple more development players coming in, the club is on the right path. Maybe snag a good signing or two and we will be top 4 once again

      Definitely missed bankwest. A top two and a first final at bankwest will be the big first up goal

    Well said FONGY.  Your a man of principles.   This team is now one we can be proud of.  No soft underbelly or mentally weak. They need to be very careful with who they recruit.  A back up hooker, a bit of speedy backs.  The premiers are coming from this side of the draw.
