            • Of course they wouldn't, but as soon as he has a good game for saints, it will be mentioned how the front office stuffed up signing him.

            • Personally, l wouldn't pay Kalooamatangi anywhere near 1.2m, only front rower in that area, imo, is Payne Haas. But also don't believe Anasta at all that the Dragons are paying 1.2m.

1m per season is tougher, because imo we are desperately needing an alpha front rower, and the fact the Eels offfered 1m over 4 years tells me that's their belief also, plus Paulo's retirement drives demand.

Either way, as mentioned, there might be an opportunity to target the Dragons pack.

One for you, with hindisght, would you have paid Dylan Brown the 1.05-1.1m required per season to keep him?

              • So we've got a situation here with two of our most learned contributors (both possibly moderators) challenging each other as to what they would do over potential signings. Both saying they wouldn't pay KK the sum offered by St George. Are people starting to grasp the difficulty faced by Mark O"Neill on a day to day basis and that maybe, just maybe he isn't doing as bad a job as some on here make out?

                • What would you pay for fish ? There was a big bopper for saints similar to underhill. Look good of that 1 game. We need a fui.
            • No way just a plodder. Saints needs this type of forwards. Tonga moves like a giraffe with broken legs.

  • So if we can't attract top tier talent what else is there but to over pay or wait until,an opportunity presents itself which is shrinking by the day with another 2 teams in the mix.

Do we have choice yes we do we can stick to our guns and quickly lose out yet again or do we swing for the fence and go for it.

Tick Tok Moses is on the clock if we wait for the opportunity that may eventually present itself is he done by that time if we aren't forcing the issue.

JR has said winning starts now not in 2-3 years when Moses is well into his back 9.

For me if your talking recruiting since about 23 we've missed the mark, when we've really needed to land the necessary we've come up short injury has exposed it because not only have we failed at the mentioned but our depth isn't there either so we are getting exposed.

Maybe MoN is doing the best he can maybe he is but is it good enough is the team as currently constructed with the mentioned constraints good enough to take us foward confidently I doubt it.But if Jim Matt and co believe it is so be it and there's no will for change then we get what we get.

NoS framed it well why bother getting Moses to remove his options if this is what he's got to look foward to.I mean the clubs doing everything it can to win right. We've basically pissed a way the mentioneds last 3 seasons bottom feeding.
