To be fair FMP, Chief was in favour in letting Gutho go early. Mainly due to his hatred of BA, he linked Gutho to that too and wanted all traces of BA gone. That is not me being smart allic either i am actually serious that is a reason he was in favour of it.

No. This isn't purely or simply about answering questions where the $1.2m/$6m figure comes from.
Yes. Like most, Anasta initially believed media reports it was around $1m. He thought it was overs then (said so on his podcast). Later, he obviously found out it was higher and said so. His face told the story. I found out through very solid sources his figure was accurate.
Where I'm heading with this is it would be unwise to pay ridiculous overs on the cap for him— seeing he makes every Eels stuff up list bandied about on here regularly.
I'll ask you a question (one Cap didn't answer or Chief).
Would you pay $1.2m for five years on the cap for Kaeon?
I wouldn't sign him for 1yr, he is way overrated, imo.
Of course they wouldn't, but as soon as he has a good game for saints, it will be mentioned how the front office stuffed up signing him.
