ANY MORE SIGNINGS???

I've been frustrated recently about the work we have been doing in the open market. Jonah's alright for a year and JDB is solid but he's getting old. I feel we need more in the forwards and some a replacement outside back. All I have seen is links towards Brian Kelly which is exciting but if we want to become premiership contenders were going to need more bigger name signings. The rumours about Keoan Koloamatangi have gone silent recently but I hope were still pushing to get him as I think he's the sort of forward leader that could push us that extra step.

As for that I haven't seen any strong rumours about players linked to our club, and I feel the club needs to be doing better. I think we still need atleast 2 more signing coming into the new season so is there any rumours that any of you have heard of? I'm genuenly confused about how JR is going to take this club forward with the amount of players getting sent out the door and the minimal amount of players coming in the door.

      • I compare him to W Blake in the sense he has great athletic ability but just not footy ability.

    • He signed elsewhere , so no , now he's obviously shit. Before this announcement , he was so good we decided not to chase any good players as we didn't want to block this awesome young guns path.

      • haha. Best we stay in our lane Wiz and not dare look at good players. Its all juniors for ever, that way its no one in managements fault, it is all the kid or his coaches fault. Ass covering 101

        • If I'm running the club , I'm punting our recruitment team and just subcontracting a third party to do it as a part time gig.  We really don't warrant having a full time recruitment position on our books.

          • That's also right. Why are we paying for a recruitment team that doesn't actually recruit? All they seem to be doing is re-signing players already at the club and promoting jnrs or others from within.

Save the $300k or $400k & fuck off MON and his lackeys

      • Precisely this.

If he hadn't signed elsewhere then he is the best since Hayne.

Roosters signing him says the kids got a lot of potential and I say this not actually having seen him play - just trust the roosters talent identification over ours.

        • Yeah, the Roosters always get it right with recruitment,  their last two big signings, Dom Young and Brandon Smith, how did that go?

"No, Kelly wouldn't be on $650k or $700k. I would swap him with Matto, the difference in player salaries between the two would be greater towards us. We would have the difference on our cap but the swap would be player for player, we keep our top 30…"
