I've been frustrated recently about the work we have been doing in the open market. Jonah's alright for a year and JDB is solid but he's getting old. I feel we need more in the forwards and some a replacement outside back. All I have seen is links towards Brian Kelly which is exciting but if we want to become premiership contenders were going to need more bigger name signings. The rumours about Keoan Koloamatangi have gone silent recently but I hope were still pushing to get him as I think he's the sort of forward leader that could push us that extra step.
As for that I haven't seen any strong rumours about players linked to our club, and I feel the club needs to be doing better. I think we still need atleast 2 more signing coming into the new season so is there any rumours that any of you have heard of? I'm genuenly confused about how JR is going to take this club forward with the amount of players getting sent out the door and the minimal amount of players coming in the door.

Suali, Marky Mark and Manu all left for greener pastures.
Good discussion, gents. Yep, even the Chooks don't always nail recruitment, nor Bennett for that matter. Cheese had a PO too. Can't win em all.
They're in a Golden Age though. The best in almost a century since 1930-38 (9-straight finals, a three-peat). If they make the finals in 2026, which they should, it'll be 10-straight. A First for the club.
As long as Politis and/or his network are there, they'll bounce back from any recruitment losses. They've got a lot of talent coming through too.
They've got a lot of quality kids coming through there system right now and they seem especially within there fowards to have a type that they are targeting.Naufahu Whyte is the next boom front rower coming he'll be up and near that Tino Tapine and Payne Haas range in the next year or 2.
Robert Toia is another one 20 yrs old SoO candy international centre. They've got some really good kids coming through and I while they have there sombrero the fact they are hitting with there development is huge.
Another thing is they've got alot of urgent athletes so I think they'll be back innthe mix sooner rather than later.Much like the Raiders there spine will be the area that holds them back.
More often than we have - historically.
If you read my junior blogs, I have never rated him.
Well the Roosters just entered the race for Tino. Getting ridiculous now. They cave Collins, Leniu, Radley, Whyte and Watson (technically) as middles. All either internationals or Origin players. Now want Tino and somehow can afford him? Nothing to see here.
