Listening to Journos pod, apparently Lomax is still mulling over whether to stay or leave for R 360. Eels apparently are not fazed if he decides to leave as it opens up cap space for other signings. Have to wait and see what happens

I get that people say 'no such thing as a fair draw' but to play last year's Grand Finalists in week 1 and week 2 both away? Who did we upset at NRL HQ to get that little gift?
I really feel for the Knights. They have 24 games against teams that are better than them. Toughest draw by miles...
Yeah it will be tough for the "Here we goes," but I like our draw.
It's true the Storm haven't lost a round 1 game for forever but keep in mind they've been shortened up a bit and we are on the up. I think with that record opposing teams are beaten before they turn up. We copped a hiding last year at Aami so we know what to expect and I contend we're a big chance.
And if we were to get the 2points, especially how we finished last year we might get a little recognition thats long overdue.
Raiders and sharks seem to get the easiest draw every year and get knocked out of the finals quickly because they aren't real contenders lol
I like the draw, if you start your season well you tend to win games you shouldn't and the opposite if you start poorly.
If we can win 4/5 to start the season your looking at a top four finish with a heap of momentum before our first bye.
We could ride a wave of victories or defeats ,our start will go along way to deciding our season.
We should have beaten the Storm round 1 in 24 before Munster crashed over in OT, Brisbane we tend to stick it too and likewise the Panthers.
The Tigers are always up for Easter Monday so we have to be ready to go, that's great for the coaching staff and preparing the players for season start .
Everyone will be under no illusions as to what's required from the group immediately.
We really need an aggressive middle while those teams are fit at season start , either way 26 we have to play fast.
Progression that's all I'm looking for next year.

None of this sook shite let's go get 'em if we are good enough great if we aren't just give a good account of yourself and keep improving..We clearly aren't there as a team yet so my expectations aren't as high as alot of others are.I know what this is its year 2 of this rebuild there won't be any Xmas miracles next year for us I don't feel.We haven't the roster to win the comp so it doesn't bother me as much as some.
All I'm looking for is progression with the young guys we gave a shot last year and as little regression in attack and defense as possible and just see where we end up.
