How Parramatta are going to fill these positions is the real question — because right now, it doesn’t add up.
You don’t lose that many experienced Top 30 players and simply replace them overnight, especially under a tight salary cap. The reality is they’ll be forced to lean heavily on unproven juniors, plug holes with bargain signings, and reshuffle what’s left of the squad. That might work long term if a few players click, but short term it screams lack of depth, inexperience, and a forward pack that could get rolled. Outside of Luai, this doesn’t look like a reload — it looks like a gamble.
Also the people questioning Anderson's strategy - Metcalf was an absolute powerhouse last night.
Some are saying the 2027 will be stronger than 26 - it certainly doesn't look like it

Exactly KG! Precisely why I don't understand them not coughing up a two yr deal for the experienced Junior. Highly respected, and now repaired player who really did not want to leave.
if given a lesser deal x2 yrs he may not be contemplating the move west.
