My Bob replied to Blue Eel's discussion The Truth Hurts: Article
"At the moment we have two not insignificant on field  problems.  1: We have absolute shite defence in our red zone. Not adaptation no organic defence that adjusts to threats, it is the same crappy tight line and a 20 M wide overlap. So freaking…"

"I think that Manly might take us lightly this week. Playing at home at full strength against a under manned Parra side.
They probably love their chances which may just lead to arrogance which may lead to what we are famous for - dropping to the…"

The Captain replied to Johnny Suede's discussion Ethan Sanders inks three-year deal with Raiders
"The timing of the anouncement is really crap and that's another red mark against our football department. They could have easily made an agreement to wait.
But for Sanders and his own career, this is the right move. Hopefully we stay close in case…"

Angry Eel replied to ParramattaLurker's discussion Round 8 Team List v Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (ANZAC Round)
"That is a little narrow minded. There is some nuance here that needs to be considered. Perhaps by not picking him the last few weeks  has lit a fire in Sanders and given him a little more determination. From all reports he was going pretty poorly…"

"But they are not learning in Flegg. 25 mins in cup is more valuable than 50 in Flegg. I mean all due respect to say Reece Alderton, but being a RM players for a while his upside is not very high. Tuivaiti could offer the same or more. Flegg ain't…"

And Murphy - everyone's best friend
And Cayless - probably the most useless coach ever to be handed a team sheet...
If Bennett ever decided to join us ... There will be absolute mass sackings. "

Angry Eel replied to Snottie Pimpin's discussion Ethan Sanders / BA
"How do you know he won't play 1st grade? Strange has only played a handful of 1st grade games, he could fall into a massive heap over the next few weeks when teams work him out. Sanders chances of jumping Fogarty and Strange is much much higher than…"

Analysis and reflection of BA and is sacking the go, WARNING LONG BLOG.

So the topic of convo has been the beating of the drums for Arthur. Now over the years i have flipped flopped alot on my support or lack their of for Arthur. In 2018, i wanted him gone, nothing could convince me otherwise. Then again in 2020, after the finals i started to get irritated of his teams fading. 2021 again wanted him out, but late 2021 after the semi i did say you either sack him or extend him as he was off-contract. The club extended him til 2024, where i said 2023 but oh well. I…

It is not Arthur's fault: Gus Gould

Funny that Gould defends Arthur saying he is not the problem, the problem is their junior development is messed up. Yeah you know who else's junior pathways is bad? Canterbury and who coached them when the pathways were slowly being worked on? Barrett. But you sacked him when the junior pathways werent great. You sacked Cleary when the Penrith pathways weren't going well. You sacked Griffin whent they were in the top 4 winning games!!!!!!Nobody brings it up as it's Gus. If you do you lose your…

NRL admits bunker got it wrong on roosters obstruction call

Graham Annesley has conceded a controversial obstruction call that cost Roosters star Joey Manu a fair try against the Panthers was wrong. The NRL head of football has wasted no time conceding that video referee Chris Butler failed to use the necessary level of discretion in incorrectly deeming that Panthers fullback Dylan Edwards was obstructed from defending the no-try due to a collision with Roosters decoy runner Jared Waerea-Hargreaves. The alleged obstruction from Waerea-Hargreaves on…

Nuclear Power a Balanced View

I previously wrote a blog on the subject of nuclear power.Professor Daz basically took my comments apart and justifiably so as I had nowhere near the knowledge or research capacity to lay a factual basis for the proliferation of nuclear power other than a view I privately held via an economist friend of mineI receive a lot of economic commentary and a newsletter I receive from another economist paints what I believe to be a more balanced view of the discussion. I say this because Daz pointed…

What is everyone's preferred BBQ meat choice?

So Sunday, to celebrate the start of a new season, i am hosting my mates with a BBQ, pool table, darts and man cave while watching the Vegas matches.
