"Lane wouldn't get a start in any other NRL side but then he probably wouldn't be taking the piss like he's doing now. "

Cranky Brad is here!!! replied to Snottie Pimpin's discussion Ethan Sanders / BA
"No coach does have that magical power. You know Bellamy lost Tino Fa’asuamaleaui, Nicho Hynes, the block of cheese and so many more. So if you didn't understand, he did everything possible to keep them 3 of my examples but they left for better…"

"That's the concern. No one in authority has the football nous to see the obvious. That Moses returning merely papers over the cracks. This team is getting further from a premiership, not closer. Sarantinos promised us that we would be contending…"

"I wish I knew LB. Cannot believe lumelume is being played over a guy like Martin who has so much more upside. Tuivita and Pryke in Flegg should be playing cup. I guess it's because we have so much forward depth in cup that the club rather them get…"

"Then again no real back-rowers to put in. Maybe Doorey? But then BA still needed to give some of the big names a chance to get him a win hoping they get going."

The thing that is perplexing is how disjointed they are in attack and defense. In attack when we do move it we aren't getting any penetration from either edge back rower Matto and…"

"Keeps Lane in the side and drops Moretti. Lane would be the biggest  bludger in NRL first grade. Another example of this coaches lack of football nous."

Analysis and reflection of BA and is sacking the go, WARNING LONG BLOG.

So the topic of convo has been the beating of the drums for Arthur. Now over the years i have flipped flopped alot on my support or lack their of for Arthur. In 2018, i wanted him gone, nothing could convince me otherwise. Then again in 2020, after the finals i started to get irritated of his teams fading. 2021 again wanted him out, but late 2021 after the semi i did say you either sack him or extend him as he was off-contract. The club extended him til 2024, where i said 2023 but oh well. I…

It is not Arthur's fault: Gus Gould

Funny that Gould defends Arthur saying he is not the problem, the problem is their junior development is messed up. Yeah you know who else's junior pathways is bad? Canterbury and who coached them when the pathways were slowly being worked on? Barrett. But you sacked him when the junior pathways werent great. You sacked Cleary when the Penrith pathways weren't going well. You sacked Griffin whent they were in the top 4 winning games!!!!!!Nobody brings it up as it's Gus. If you do you lose your…

NRL admits bunker got it wrong on roosters obstruction call

Graham Annesley has conceded a controversial obstruction call that cost Roosters star Joey Manu a fair try against the Panthers was wrong. The NRL head of football has wasted no time conceding that video referee Chris Butler failed to use the necessary level of discretion in incorrectly deeming that Panthers fullback Dylan Edwards was obstructed from defending the no-try due to a collision with Roosters decoy runner Jared Waerea-Hargreaves. The alleged obstruction from Waerea-Hargreaves on…

Nuclear Power a Balanced View

I previously wrote a blog on the subject of nuclear power.Professor Daz basically took my comments apart and justifiably so as I had nowhere near the knowledge or research capacity to lay a factual basis for the proliferation of nuclear power other than a view I privately held via an economist friend of mineI receive a lot of economic commentary and a newsletter I receive from another economist paints what I believe to be a more balanced view of the discussion. I say this because Daz pointed…

What is everyone's preferred BBQ meat choice?

So Sunday, to celebrate the start of a new season, i am hosting my mates with a BBQ, pool table, darts and man cave while watching the Vegas matches. Though i am curious for a fun discussion what is everyone else's go to for the BBQ? For me, a piece of Scotch Fillet, seasoned with salt and a BBQ seasoning which consists of mustard seeds, paprika, thyme, garlic and more that i cannot remember, cooked to medium rare to medium, simply devine. All i can say is on a pan cooked same is my death row…
