"100% that's the plan and sooner rather than later IMO.
Doubt Lomax would come the play center - he was offered what he wanted position wise that's why he signed so quick. He may also have some incentives built in etc which might up his overall…"

"I like JoJo Fifita. Tesi Niu is struggling with his weight and fitness. Fifita is very quick.
Skelton would be good but I doubt they would release him.
Shiler would also be pretty good. "

Most impressive and disappointing: Round 6 v North Queensland

Darkness moved out, though his parting words were "I will be back eventually" but didn't take notice of it as i was not prepared for Saturday night. Overall many on social media have mentioned we were lucky, i felt the better team overall won. Asi sured up the left side allowing Gutho and Brown to focus on their roles and the middles benefited from that too. We were much better and went down the route that Cooper Cronk mentioned in that we should play as if Moses is not there, in other words we…

Talagi to come off bench.

On NRL 350, BA said Talagi will be named on the bench (for Moretti?). "He can cover a few different spots for us. When it gets fast we might put him on through the middle," Arthur said on NRL 360. "We’re going to experiment with a few things with him because he does provide x-factor for us."  “Blaize is a young kid that has a real ability to find space with the ball. He’s still learning the game." "He handled the first three games physically for us. He’s just got to get on top of some…

Buzz's Lowlights

The Parramatta Eels are under fire again for lack of fan interaction. A member, Matt Butcher from Griffith and his eight-year-old daughter Ella made the seven-hour trip on Saturday for the Cowboys game. Petrol, accommodation, tickets and meals set them back $800.The member sent me an email last week which I passed onto the club. All they wanted was an opportunity for a couple of autographs and selfies.I forwarded the email to Josh Drayton, the Eels’ boss of communications. He told me he would…

Zac Cini - Why not?

I dont watch a lot of the NSW Cup but the games I have watched I like the look of Zac Cini. He seems to be a powerful runner and hard worker. Admittantly I havent seen him consistently but can anyone say why he hasn't got more of a look in for the first grade squad? Also just watch the cup highlights and Sanders looked like he had a blinder. Was only highlights but like to know the perspective of some one that watched the whole game? I know his selection in 1st grade is nullified somewhat after…

NRL admits bunker got it wrong on roosters obstruction call

Graham Annesley has conceded a controversial obstruction call that cost Roosters star Joey Manu a fair try against the Panthers was wrong. The NRL head of football has wasted no time conceding that video referee Chris Butler failed to use the necessary level of discretion in incorrectly deeming that Panthers fullback Dylan Edwards was obstructed from defending the no-try due to a collision with Roosters decoy runner Jared Waerea-Hargreaves. The alleged obstruction from Waerea-Hargreaves on…

Nuclear Power a Balanced View

I previously wrote a blog on the subject of nuclear power.Professor Daz basically took my comments apart and justifiably so as I had nowhere near the knowledge or research capacity to lay a factual basis for the proliferation of nuclear power other than a view I privately held via an economist friend of mineI receive a lot of economic commentary and a newsletter I receive from another economist paints what I believe to be a more balanced view of the discussion. I say this because Daz pointed…

What is everyone's preferred BBQ meat choice?

So Sunday, to celebrate the start of a new season, i am hosting my mates with a BBQ, pool table, darts and man cave while watching the Vegas matches. Though i am curious for a fun discussion what is everyone else's go to for the BBQ? For me, a piece of Scotch Fillet, seasoned with salt and a BBQ seasoning which consists of mustard seeds, paprika, thyme, garlic and more that i cannot remember, cooked to medium rare to medium, simply devine. All i can say is on a pan cooked same is my death row…
