Muttman replied to Electric Eel 2's discussion Lomax is a freak
"None of them would even know he exists. That's the biggest issue. A Board with football expertise would know names like Cameron, Ponissi etc. They'd have them on a shortlist already. Our lot would probably hire a HR company to do some market…"

"I don't even know if the Board of the Leagues Club have the authority to act. As the owner one would assume they do. I need to find out. If not, then fhe Football Club Board is untouchable. We'll need another constitutional change. "

BA's Round 8 presser

https://www.parraeels.com.au/news/2024/04/25/coachs-media-round-8/What a master, saying a long time since he's seen them play like that. It was a long time, try two weeks prior against Canberra. Saying it is one loss, try 2 out of 3 games putting up that performance and the Canberra game is the reason for him snapping since it is happening more. You do not snap like that uncharacteristically if it is a one off.His Sanders explanation was not great either.Oh well let's see how we go and how they…

R8 v Manly: The Rise and Fall of the Eels

The free-falling Eels are staring down the barrel of another nail in their season’s coffin. They sit like ducks in the target arrow of the public's microscope just waiting to dissect their ANZAC performance. Despite the Eagles superior position and form, both the Eels and Eagles have struggled for consistency this year. The Eagles have only won back-to-back games once (R1-R2) this year, whilst the Eels have not won back-to-back games yet and are facing two straight losses. The Eels defence…

NRL admits bunker got it wrong on roosters obstruction call

Graham Annesley has conceded a controversial obstruction call that cost Roosters star Joey Manu a fair try against the Panthers was wrong. The NRL head of football has wasted no time conceding that video referee Chris Butler failed to use the necessary level of discretion in incorrectly deeming that Panthers fullback Dylan Edwards was obstructed from defending the no-try due to a collision with Roosters decoy runner Jared Waerea-Hargreaves. The alleged obstruction from Waerea-Hargreaves on…

Nuclear Power a Balanced View

I previously wrote a blog on the subject of nuclear power.Professor Daz basically took my comments apart and justifiably so as I had nowhere near the knowledge or research capacity to lay a factual basis for the proliferation of nuclear power other than a view I privately held via an economist friend of mineI receive a lot of economic commentary and a newsletter I receive from another economist paints what I believe to be a more balanced view of the discussion. I say this because Daz pointed…
