"His reps probably asked the club who was going to be the coach moving forward and couldn't get out of there fast enough.
He will be stuck behind both Fogarty and Strange at the Raiders but still felt that he will be better off uprooting his whole…"

"yep. Same same for 10 odd years. Just try every bloody game you pretenders. One game does not make a footy player, it has to be consistent, and they are not. As BA said "they are part time footballers" can I add " And full time pretenders for most…"

"I agree in the sense of he had to try something, we would all complain if he didn't swing the axe but a few choices look to be desperate throw to the wall and hope it sticks. Makatoa over Greig is an odd one just as the type of Props they are.

A lot of…"

"Well you said it is just a number, well i answered with why not move them? Paulo has played 200+ games and that can be an honour thing.
Brown is a 6 through and through and Sanders is a 7, both playing 80 can swap them.
I know it is as it is very…"

Analysis and reflection of BA and is sacking the go, WARNING LONG BLOG.

So the topic of convo has been the beating of the drums for Arthur. Now over the years i have flipped flopped alot on my support or lack their of for Arthur. In 2018, i wanted him gone, nothing could convince me otherwise. Then again in 2020, after the finals i started to get irritated of his teams fading. 2021 again wanted him out, but late 2021 after the semi i did say you either sack him or extend him as he was off-contract. The club extended him til 2024, where i said 2023 but oh well. I…

It is not Arthur's fault: Gus Gould

Funny that Gould defends Arthur saying he is not the problem, the problem is their junior development is messed up. Yeah you know who else's junior pathways is bad? Canterbury and who coached them when the pathways were slowly being worked on? Barrett. But you sacked him when the junior pathways werent great. You sacked Cleary when the Penrith pathways weren't going well. You sacked Griffin whent they were in the top 4 winning games!!!!!!Nobody brings it up as it's Gus. If you do you lose your…

NRL admits bunker got it wrong on roosters obstruction call

Graham Annesley has conceded a controversial obstruction call that cost Roosters star Joey Manu a fair try against the Panthers was wrong. The NRL head of football has wasted no time conceding that video referee Chris Butler failed to use the necessary level of discretion in incorrectly deeming that Panthers fullback Dylan Edwards was obstructed from defending the no-try due to a collision with Roosters decoy runner Jared Waerea-Hargreaves. The alleged obstruction from Waerea-Hargreaves on…

Nuclear Power a Balanced View

I previously wrote a blog on the subject of nuclear power.Professor Daz basically took my comments apart and justifiably so as I had nowhere near the knowledge or research capacity to lay a factual basis for the proliferation of nuclear power other than a view I privately held via an economist friend of mineI receive a lot of economic commentary and a newsletter I receive from another economist paints what I believe to be a more balanced view of the discussion. I say this because Daz pointed…

What is everyone's preferred BBQ meat choice?

So Sunday, to celebrate the start of a new season, i am hosting my mates with a BBQ, pool table, darts and man cave while watching the Vegas matches. Though i am curious for a fun discussion what is everyone else's go to for the BBQ? For me, a piece of Scotch Fillet, seasoned with salt and a BBQ seasoning which consists of mustard seeds, paprika, thyme, garlic and more that i cannot remember, cooked to medium rare to medium, simply devine.
