"He is a dragons junior and pretty sure he scored a hat trick in a under 19 origin game for nsw. He is a big body so my big concern would be his turn and chase."

EA replied to Mr 'BringBackFitzy' Analyst's discussion Could Lomax backflip on his decision?
"I would be more worried about Hopgood. He is a future origin player and captain of any club. He came from a winning culture at Panthers and any club would want him. Why would someone like him want to stay at our club when we perform like this "

Hugo replied to LB's discussion Brad to Bennett: Why Friday's clash might be the tipping point for Arthur and the Eels.
"Of course sacking BA would be a very expensive exercise.
You have the payout for Brad which would exceed 1 million.
If Bennett came in he could basically name his price but I would say he would be close to 2 million a year.
He also brings all.his…"

Muttman replied to Mr 'BringBackFitzy' Analyst's discussion Could Lomax backflip on his decision?
"Bennett is the answer. I can't believe this is even being debated. He's the greatest NRL Coach ever and he's available in 2025. We have an underperforming but decent roster, good halves and well resourced club. It's literally a perfect match at…"

HKF replied to Mr 'BringBackFitzy' Analyst's discussion Could Lomax backflip on his decision?
"Do you think it will matter if BA is still coach next year?, the only way this team improves with BA remaining coach is if we recruit a real leader as team captain and I can't see that happening. "

Safe options have failed

Look at other sides and especially their young talent, they have a bit of arrogance and attitude as they know they are good players and ooze confidence which our players lack.  I think BA and the club went too far down the path of recruiting good blokes as the safe option, knowing they train hard, wont stray from simple game plan and won't get in trouble instead of naturally talented players who need more work to man manage.  It is another example of an unbalanced squad, just like our NRL side…

I’ve solved BA’s problem and it's been staring at us all this time.

I knew there must be a reason for BA's delusional behaviour. No one can consistently do the same thing and not learn from it after 11 years at the helm.  After hours of intense research. Here it is. It's all the water he drinks! Read the below - Hallucinations and confusion! Sound like someone?  Water intoxication is a dangerous and severe condition because blood sodium levels drop rapidly, causing neurologic changes like hallucinations and confusion.Problem solved.

Brad to Bennett: Why Friday's clash might be the tipping point for Arthur and the Eels.

This article was prior to last night's game. But it is mentioned how the draw can spell badly for us. But said how our tactics are outdated and the roster is built for it but it doesn't work in modern day NRL. I love how he says next 6 weeks could make them move early, well surprise surprise this loss was so bad that could do it.https://www.theroar.com.au/2024/04/19/no-more-evolution-why-parras-clash-with-the-dolphins-in-darwin-might-be-a-tipping-point-for-brad-arthur/

NRL admits bunker got it wrong on roosters obstruction call

Graham Annesley has conceded a controversial obstruction call that cost Roosters star Joey Manu a fair try against the Panthers was wrong. The NRL head of football has wasted no time conceding that video referee Chris Butler failed to use the necessary level of discretion in incorrectly deeming that Panthers fullback Dylan Edwards was obstructed from defending the no-try due to a collision with Roosters decoy runner Jared Waerea-Hargreaves. The alleged obstruction from Waerea-Hargreaves on…

Nuclear Power a Balanced View

I previously wrote a blog on the subject of nuclear power.Professor Daz basically took my comments apart and justifiably so as I had nowhere near the knowledge or research capacity to lay a factual basis for the proliferation of nuclear power other than a view I privately held via an economist friend of mineI receive a lot of economic commentary and a newsletter I receive from another economist paints what I believe to be a more balanced view of the discussion. I say this because Daz pointed…
