Let's start by saying the sky is not falling, there are no real concerns and season is not over. I think that is very fair to say. It is also fair to say i was pleased with our performance considering the circumstances. To lose a Winger, then to…
Read more…We may only be into round 2 but there are plenty of signs the Eels of 2024 are improved on the 2023 version. - Junior off the bench: I tipped this as a change that was needed last year. With Parramatta regularly lacking punch and creativity from the…

The Eels are desperate for a bounce-back win after being Tago-ed in the Panthers' loss, and to honor RCG's 200th NRL game. They have…

It is also fair to say i was pleased with our performance considering the circumstances. To lose a Winger, then to have a back-rower who 1) has never really played there before 2) never trained there with us and 3) defending in the hardest position on the field, it is far from ideal obviously. Added to that is moving your Centre who is primarily known for defence to…
Read more…Just been watching the Manly vs Roosters game and I must say the Sea Eagles are looking like a very good team. Noticed too that Nathan Brown is having a very good game. Manly have some powerful strong runners in their backline. Tom Turbo is also in very good form and Brooks is playing really good. They're going to be very tough next week. Especially no Simmonsen, Sivo, Moses not a 100% and Eels have nothing in reserves. Poor recruitment again has been a real cluster F**CK in my opinion

I hope the Eels have a "get square" plan for Luia next…
Read more…I have waited to Sunday to write this, as I had difficulty in getting my feelings right about our performance.I agree that Harper was treated/judged harshly by some over his performance. He did some very good things using his initiative and seeing he was posted out there with only Dylan sweeping across to help he did pretty well in a comparative sense. I actually think he could play winger if required as his jamming showed more judgement than our wingers typically have shown.I have mentioned in…
Read more…How come whenever we see Danny Weidler on the news interviewing players, he has to have his big boof head front and centre of the shot. It's almost as if he is the star - has he ever played league....it just annoys me.

I say this because Daz pointed…

Though i am curious for a fun discussion what is everyone else's go to for the BBQ? For me, a piece of Scotch Fillet, seasoned with salt and a BBQ seasoning which consists of mustard seeds, paprika, thyme, garlic and more that i cannot remember, cooked to medium rare to medium, simply devine. But now a bunch of the wife's pals have got into her head about a group holiday and I've been roped into agreeing to go. All I know is I don't want to stay in Kuta or anywhere there is a bunch of fuckwit Aussies being loud fuckwits , but I do want somewhere I can walk out of my hotel and have a drink and watch the footy etc without the town being a ghostown when the streetlights go out.…
