I'm not sure they actually do talk him up any more. At the start of the year there was some hype about the new guy with the big hair. Since then I'm not sure he's really done anything to get him into the 1st grade team.

Are you serious? He breaks sides apart at will. Even this year he has played pretty well, considering the other things that must be on his mind. This time last year he would have been rated the best player in the NRL.

That could be a useful package. Mateo's great weakness at times is the desire to offload regardless of the situation. Fewer skills could lead to less errors.
