same team, same off field dramas, same board level dummies.
Would a different coach this year go better than BA has?
To me, BA needs to go. He’s had his time.
On paper, we still look like a decent team. Would a Cleary coached team this year have got us into top 8 this year? Would players like Moeroa, terepo, thrived under a new coach?
its obvious we need a change but maybe our squad is not as bad as we think, maybe just poorly coached.
also, another option for coach out of left field could be Neil Henry (princess wont be happy with that however). He seems to improve struggling clubs...
just my opinion

Yes look at Souths.
Essentially the same roster as last year with the only glaring difference being the coach Seibold.
Was Maguire shit?
IMO no, he was just past his use by date at Souths - the players needed a new voice and tbh most coaches would’ve delivered that this year for them, so why not Parra.
We had a coaching merry go round for the last decade
chopping and changing did not work
we need stability
we may need a change of coaches soon but not now
let BA see out his contract and make sure the next coach is chosen wisely and good enough to stay for 5 years
How would any of us know?
Hagan, Kearney, Taylor, Sticky
All those changes worked too....not
St George stuck with their coach through a few bad seasons and now they are favourites
n=1 proves nothing
yeah and McGregor never had a team go top 4 to wooden spoon either
Rabbits had a bunch of players picked for SOO & Parra had SFA. There's your difference.
More rule tweaks by the NRL & referees crackdown on & off throughout the season screwed us. Our smaller, more mobile pack was nullified by the stop/start rubbish reffing that allows our bigger opponents constant rests in between attacking raids.
If you wanna fix the game, send the deliberate penalty-givers to the sin bin. And not just when the refs feel like it either. I remember when Souths were high five-ing each other earlier this year after defending their line for 10-15 mins & not letting any tries in.
They did it by constantly giving away deliberate penalties & forcing their opponents to re-start their sets and Souths' defenders were resting & re-setting each time a penalty was given as well as the old "Sin Bin Warning" speech from the ref.
Of course, no Souths players were sin binned during that 10-15 min period.
If Parra were to do what Souths did in those 15 mins, Parra would've finished the game with just 9 players on the paddock.
I have 0% doubt that referees are still playing "favorites" in most games.
If it's not the on-field refs doing it, it's the bunker who're screwing teams over.
Show me another sport/competition in the world where their administrators tweak the rules just before each new season and on top of that, they enforce refereeing crackdowns on & off during the season whenever they feel like it.
