So out of the 4 coaches the club has had since 2010, which coach do you think has been the worst. Before deciding look at all the different factors such as recruitment/retention, the squad they had to work with, personality, results, what they promised etc.

And in that order. Anderson fits in as the 4th worst in his period from 09-10, out of 52 games as coach has a 48.1% win ratio while BA has over his 6 years as full time coach, plus when he took over from Kearney in 2012, with a total of 128 games and 45.3%.
One thing for sure is that season 2018 was BA's worst year, but go through the history list and we have some big name players who excelled on the playing field but were totally dud coaches.
Stephen Kearney, how any coach could think Billy Rogers was a 1st grade player, has absolutely no stuffin idea
Kearney 5 hitups and kick yeah shot mate.
Still remember him doing that with the Kiwis and they got crushed 34-2 by the Aussies even with the talent the Kiwis had.
BA 45% win rate
SK 10% win rate at the Eels
45% win rate at the Warriors
Overall his win rate is 35%.
Just saying
actually your stats are wrong!
2011–12
Parramatta Eels
42 games
10 wins
1 draw
31 losses
24 %
Mick, Brad has had 142 games compared to only 42 for Kearney for the eels. In fact Kearney has had only 92 games as a club coach compared to again 142 for Brad hence the sampling too different to draw a true result. In normal research "We won something" theory would not be considered correct due to the large difference in the samplings.
This season does no credit to BA, but it actually shows less credit to those behind the scenes who removed much of the resources including support staff from him. He was coaching without anywhere near the needs and what he had previously. The change mid season with the arrival of Kidwell and Ricardo Jimenez a bit later helped the club and team but was too little too late. Had BA had that sort of support to begin the year with who knows what difference it could have made.
He showed in his previous 2 seasons under more adverse issues that he could bond the team, why they didn't this year is anyone's guess, perhaps most of them basically who had gone through the last two season were unable to go through another season like it again. I blame the players more than the coach as they are in control on the field.
It wasn't until Ken Kearney was appointed coach in 1962 for 3 years that the eels win ratio went above 50%, prior to that the best percentage was with Vic Hey at 33.3% in 1948-53. Have a look at this list and compare the big name coaches the eels have had and how some of them have performed many who were great players were pathetic coaches, so doing a blog based on the last 8 years is in some ways unfair.

Absolutely Brad Arthur.
he has simply ruined so many talented players IMO who most certainly would have really flourished under more capable coaches. He has had at his disposal a far higher calibre of player than both Kearney And Stuart and failed by much worse than they have. He is at best a reasonably competent assistant nothing more
