It's a pain to get there, it has a crap atmosphere, and the security are so unfriendly (hello fellow Swarm member). A grand total of 22 000 people there tonight - we would have been better off taking our chances with the 'cursed' Parramatta Stadium. Why do we play the Rabbits and the Dogs at ANZ for 'our' home game? HELLOOO??? it's their home ground too? How is that advantageous to us?
And the pitch was lumpy in middle too - that was unforgivable.
Your thoughts?

I mentioned to Perfecta that the biggest issue with ANZ is getting there.
You might as well add $60 to each Season Ticket, because we head out there 3 times, pay $20 each time and get a little bit poorer.
The other option is the train - and you can imagine how much I love doing that on my own at 11.30 at night.
Further, ANZ is essentially the Bunnies Stadium - it hurts a lot to hear the Burrow overpowering us at our own home game.
Gaps everywhere, away from the action - I hate going to ANZ.
We drive down there in peak hour traffic on a Friday night, when every man and his dog is out on the road, when the parking station next to the stadium is booked out because there's a concert next door at Acer as well, and arrive having bickered all the way about which way we should have gone so as to avoid the queues and the traffic.... then pay $20 for parking... lug all the flags and stuff 5 miles over to the stadium (because you can't drop them off at the door)...
Then the seating is miles away from the paddock, the idiot security kicks a non-drinking Swarm member out for having a bung knee and not being able to sit down....
Worst still is the - to be mathematically precise - three quarters empty stadium - and that was before they chucked out Slippery!!
What's the point?
Agree with all you say.
Add to that the freakin food prices.... A burger, chips and drink = $18.40??? how can you take a family there and expect to eat.
FACT 1 ______ It costs me an extra $150 minimal to go to ANZ ,With a family of 5 eating and extra travel , EELS club dont care , its the fact theclub makes $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ FOR TAKING THE GAME THERE ,
FACT 2------------ The food is crap
FACT 3------------- ENVIROMENT NOT THE SAME , WE ARE FORCED AWAY FROM THE FIELD
FACT4 ------------- PARKING TAKES AN EXTRA HOUR
FACT 5------------- THE STADIUM IS SO BIG --- IT LOOKS EMPTY HMMMM NOTICE HOW IT LOOKS ON TV COMPARED WITH OUR FULL LOOKING STADIUM
FACT 6 ------- MAKE SOUTHS AND DOGS PLAY THEIR HOME GAMES AT PARRA STADIUM VS US , ITS THE SAME THING
FACT 7 ------ WE HAVE A REAL LOSING RECORD THERE
FACT 8------ EELS CANT WIN GAMES ,SO WE SPEND MORE FOR THE SAME EFFORT ?
STUFF US LOYAL FANS
I think they should have all their home games at Parramatta Stadium but if Parra have to have a home game at ANZ, why not against any team other than Bulldogs, Rabbitohs or Tigers.
It's pretty silly that the home team, Parra, actually sat in the 'away' dressing rooms too. Even if it is the Rabbitoh's home ground they should have had to sit in the away room, I think.
