I have suggested twice that the Eel look at the West Tigers coaching "How To Win Games" method with the aim of determining if it is worthwhile. The way the West Tigers are performing at the moment the answer must be yes. Any coaching method that can turn a failed player like Benji Marshall into a regular Ist grade player of some worth must have something going for it.
Another suggestion I would like to make is that the Eels follow the NZ Warriors in their adoption of breathing exercise during games. The All Blacks came to the Warriors told them of that procedure. Again the results may indicate that it is worthwhile--two wins from two games.True, it is only two games. I do breathing exercises for medical reason and can attest to its effectiveness for me. I use it to manage my blood pressure without the use of hypotensive drugs. The blood pressure drops during and after breathing exercise. I also find it relaxes me somewhat and I feel calmer as a result. Perhaps my concentration improves a little also, but that could be an individual thing. It is probable that the Warriors do breathing exercise before the game and top it up during a break in the game. That would have to be established though. Easy to implement in the short term. The players must come on board though and they may be required to do it at home to some extent. Worth thinking about.

West Tigers coaching on "How to Win Games" and last week they were learning how to "Hate Losing"....
Truly Genius!! they better be careful because other coaches might steal their idea and teach their teams how to try and win games!
