What do we need to change?

We have not been playing to our ability the past two weeks. Our head has been in the wrong place and we have not been playing for the team.

1) We are letting the pressure get to our heads. That try was lucky, and Corey was so desperate to get points on he kicked a risky kick and got a deflection. It was a complete fluke

2) Hold on the the ball! We keep on dropping the ball in key moments and it ruins the momentum. Our completion rate was really poor and we kept offloading to nobody. It was very frustrating to watch

3) Hoffman. He's not a winger. He's a center. It is like teaching an old dog new tricks. I believe his defence single handedly cost us the second try. I believe we should put in G. Jennings or Tuha and put someone young in.

Eels can fix all these things but our head needs to be in the right place.

  • It's all ba brilliant coaching
  • Slow dummy half service, terrible options, no set plays, desperate footy. Both Pritchard's need to go!!
  • Our halves are a terrible combo. Norman is a good five eighth. We need a genuine halfback and sorry bird isn't the answer. He's jus Gutho on steroids. I'd rather us buy Moses and mould him into a genuine halfback, or run the risk and sign brooks and teach him how to tackle.

    Just sayin!
    • Mate neither of those blokes are the answer. Those bloke had robbie farrah and tedesco out back and still couldnt play well. Both duds.
    • Mate, maybe your right. But Moses had a big year last year , I'll lean towards him. Do we have a choice? Every expert on here thinks hunt was a dud, fu$k my life, both Moses and hunt are better than what we have, or what's available for next year.
  • Silly offloads for a start
  • Our kicking game, up an unders was crap.

Our urgency was OK but our handling and panic passes cost us plenty.

  • Teapai will come in, I'd be dropping Alvaro, who comes on with absolutely zero impact.

Not sure what happened to Alvaro, who first came onto the scene with energy, only to become a regular plodder. Peni should also be considered soon

Apart from that I wouldn't change anything atm.
    • Is that what you concluded from this game.   Stop drinking or take a trip to spec savers.  Referring to Chief here.

    • I thought Alvaro was good id drop him still because our bench rotation isn't right
