What are we waiting for, who is worth getting.

With the retirement of Frank Pritchard and the obvious news that our beloved Semi is not coming back, we have 2-3 players to fill.  As most clubs have their teams and rosters almost locked in, I just wonder who we have in mind ?   The player movements that were going to see NAPA come to the eels and even a Raider player or two appears to have died down. The pressure to be cap compliant on manly, Raiders doesnt seem to be making much news these days either.

Do you run the squad at 27 players and keep money and positions available for a late June transfer ?  Very interesting times as the development players are really showing up in pre season and I dont think we have any train and trial players on our books either.    Nice squad but a front rower short and a big meter eating winger....

BA is proving a very astute coach. I trust him to deliver .

  • According to BA we have 28 players. Leaving a couple of spots open is prudent.

    • You are right Brett,  I assumed Pritchard was being counted in that but appears not.

  • I think your last comment says it all. BA has previously indicated that we will not be recruiting for the sake of it.

  • Our 20s were in the G.F. last year. Time to use some of them. Why does the other mans grass always look greener?

    • Because u’20’s isn’t very good preparation for the NRL.

  • Why can’t we ?

  • Not good enough
  • That’s an opinion, not a fact.

  • Funny how all of a sudden everyone under the cap.
  • Frank Pritchard retiring at least we on this site organise some kind a statue at parra home ground, north end, on the old hill.
