Hi fellow EELS supports i would like your help . I am thinking about upgrading my old phone to a so called smart phone . Mainly something that can take good pics and video , moderate internet use and of course make phone calls . As am old (lol) and dont know much about this sort of thing , any recommendations and feed back would be greatly appreciated ..... GO EELS 2012 :)

I Tunes is no good, I'm looking at the same thing and my pick is the Samsung Galaxy Range of phone (S or S2) depending on your $$, No I tunes and smokes the I Phone for dead.
Samsung Galaxy S2 are cheap right now and are easy to use, they have a bigger screen than iPhones I believe. Apparently new model Galaxy will be launched soon so if you are looking for a cheap option you may wanna consider the Galaxy S2 as they are going down in price.

The Galaxy S2 is still over $500 and is about the same as an iPhone 3GS. I have an iPhone 3GS and the only fault is iTunes which just interferes with everything. I have, however considered a HTC smart phone. They are smaller in size, have a good camera and operate very similar to an iPhone. Also a HTC isn't as expensive with the Wildfire S coming in at $288 and the Desire is just over $300.

either Gal S2 or HTC Sensation XL. Great big screen makes things easier to do.
Plus I had mine only for a month before the ear peice went, not sure why, no dropping or anything of a sort yet apple changed it over for a new one no probs at all. This is my second iPhone (prev 3GS) and I've never once regretted buying the phone/s.
Samsung Galaxy S2 is the best smart phone out there...... cheap too at the moment.
Dont buy anything apple..... Its all a bunch of overpriced rubbish!!!!
