There were a few raised eyebrows among Parramatta fans when Corey Norman posted images of his night out on Saturday. It hasn't gone unnoticed by some at the club.
He did absolutely nothing wrong but it came just 24 hours after a devastating loss. Where there's smoke there's fire, and the whispers about Norman's level of happiness at Parramatta won't go away.
Rival clubs have made approaches and enquiries. NRL.com understands the Eels are starting to get frustrated with Norman's inability to rediscover his best form.
Rookie playmaker Jaeman Salmon has been named on an extended bench for Friday's clash against the Warriors but won't play. He is a development player outside the 30-man squad.
The Eels haven't filled their 30-man list and have until June 30 to do so, but until then he won't be able to play unless there are injuries and the NRL grants the Eels permission to bring him in.
Eels shoot themselves in foot
The Eels have only got themselves to blame for their poor start to the season. But it has been compounded by the realisation that in five of their eight losses this year, they've scored the same number of tries as their opposition.

Needs to fill out but but if Norman is let go, we have a ready made replacement.
I'm over Norman.
Me too chief. He looks like he couldn't give a shit when he plays. His behavior on social media is flat out embarrassing too. If it were up to me id cut him off and promote salmon in a heartbeat (id even cop will smith at this point). Throw Normans contract money at some decent forwards so we can be rid of Matagi, Scott etc. too
Pepe, you can’t just terminate Norman’s can’t contract for no reason! It’s not that simple!!
I'm wary of nailing Salmon as a future long-term half based on our near 30 year history of doing that to players including Tim Smith, Michael Witt and Daniel Mortimer.
He's talented, but let's be cautious before we start calling him a great buy. He's yet to play in the NRL.
At least this article answers the question of is he in the Top 30. Also, we're kind of in the position where we have to name him in the 21 man squad given our injuries. We've got five players unavailable out of a 28 man squad, so we've only got 23 to choose from.
Is it just me, or is it bananas that as fans we can't go to a web page and see exactly who is in our 30 man NRL squad? We have to rely on speculation or snippets of info from media which may or may not be correct anyway.
If he was named in our 21 of course he has a top 30 contract, as i said you think he would of been happy to leave the Sharks on just a development contract???? He could of stayed there and been on the same.
x2
Part of it is if you move him during the season you'll be paying some of the freight.
Norman has still got one more year under contract here at 750 K at this point in time I think it'll be hard to move him without taking pounding against the cap.
